    Pinging Beta

Lighter springs are available from Uk importer. Or use a Keihin spring.......
  2. I fitted the float bowl extender to my last 2 betas. Can say there is no difference in before & after performance to me. I was told it was only required for truly advanced riders undertaking massive jap zaps & double steps. Some thing I rarely encounter. Had to try it though. I'm a mug for gizmos...........that's the trouble with trials, not enough gizmos.

    Clothing

Military spec Goretex boot liners work a treat - from Springfields at http://www.army-stores.com/ cheap too. Truely essential for all wet trials. Also discounted Goretex tops from Wiggle.co.uk are worthwhile. Carry a small rucksack or waterback so you can stash your waterproofs when the suns comes out in the next valley. For gloves get some neoprene ones for the road & as many pairs of std gloves as you can afford. Nothing like a clean & dry pair of gloves half way through a wet day. 4. Well all have road work, so its either a 50 or a 125 that you can ride first (officially) and the bigger prob is most require you to show insurance dox when signing on...........

  7. Just a note of thanks for posting the as it 'appens scores - well done guys. Also checking on Eurosports Web TV schedule page, it seems the live round is replaced with Football or Boxing, depending on which Sat you use. Arrghh! tell me its not so...........
  8. Drat, missed the Hong Kong round & it doesn't seem to be repeating as it used to. And it looks like we're only getting 30 min progs this year. Sheffield is scheduled for 22.00 on 06/01 on the international Eurosport. Only 30 mins though. Btw, for those keen on the other bike sports - Eurosport has been free to watch on the Astra Sat for the last 7 (?) years, and still is. You get Moto GP, WSB & some MX as well as brief coverage of World Trials, and not a penny to the Dirty Digger!
  9. Ta, Mick. I thought there was a separate modern bike event in the South East
  10. Anyone know more on the Southern Experts - understand its in Kent....... Who's riding?
  11. Use Fablon & a Felt pen. Use heat gun to form around curves of the mudguard. Its all illegal so what the heck. BTW - I'll cost
  12. Mototrial has added some more pics from the Sunday trial. Check that Fuji wheelie.........
  13. http://www.mototrial.it/ has a good selection of pics from the recent indoor, including an ace shot of Freixa handstanding on the waterfall.
