Not much trials stuff at the Bike Show (NEC). But almost hidden in a dark corner on the Michelin stand is the four stroke 320 Sherco.
Neat job, real slim.
As no-one was about we tested the weights comparing it with the two smoke alongside. Not a lot in it really, only a few pounds.
Managed to miss the trials display though.......

Martin, Spot on.
I had to check the year.
TFT - Dunno, But weird Bars.....

Here's another.............
I'm not 100% certain who rider is, but I have a good idea.

It was my first Lakes. I entered knowing it had a reputation for being tough & it lived up to expectations. Saturday was just about okay, apart from the greasey hillside sections just before lunch.
Sunday's hazzards cranked up a notch or three in the afternoon & for me it was a case of save some energy & take fives on maybe 8 or so sections. Probably wise as I still lost a few on time. Overall I enjoyed the trial & will return, but I guess the C. o C.s need to consider what level of rider they wish to attract to the clubman route and try to achieve some consistentcy in the severity of the sections.
I've added a few pics to my gallery. Didn't really have time for photos, all a bit if a rush on the day.

Your bike is flooding going downhill.
Try the Billy T carb mods it will help a lot & very near cure these symptoms.
If you don't try then, how will you know if they work? Its easy to reverse if not to your taste.
I've run these mods , with smaller jets, on three Rev-3s now & its fine in sections. However if queueing downhill for a while its slow to fire up, but always goes with a decent kick.

And here's another........

I understand my tour manager has sorted the entries this year....so it'll be my first L2D........yikes!

Plating is a specialist task - I'm sure most dealers will send barrel to Langcourt. I do & they do a good job. Plating costs

Possibly a search here might show old messages on this topic.
If not email me - I have details.
-
Price not set yet - but I understand it should be similar to 04 price.

No doubt all you plonker fans have seen the extensive article on www.todotrial.com. Surprised to see 4 valves & what looks like shim valve adjustment ........I can see no locknut adjusters.
-
I've been using the Keihin on various bikes for 8 years now. I tried it on an 01 290 sherco & it turned it into a rocket..........I rode to the end of my drive, turned round, back into the garage & ripped it off.
Its now fitted to a 280 GG Pampera - but thats another story.

Cool look? Note the angle of the rear mudguard on Chris Bruands bike. Tired of those boring curved mudguards? Just apply heat gun and bend to shape. Both Bruand & Nozaki's bike were afflicted. Have they started something?
Pic taken at the indoor bash before the start if the Verdon 5 day trial in France recently.

Wow, what a trial, absolutely brilliant. The Clubman route was spot on IMHO, a few entertaining/exhilarating numbers with plenty of tamer sections to balls up in between. The ride round over senic hills & moorland is always a highlight for this southerner, particularly the last loop on Sunday approaching that teaser - the Worlds Longest Section. (Perce - is that the Grouse Moor?). I was also fortunate that both my riding buddies were gagging for a go on the 200 - selecting the moment perfectly, I handed the bike over on the final run into the Punchard section........ Anyway, top do. Great thanks are due to all the organisers, observers, & CoCs and nice to see the fast results.

Any one know of UK/Euro suppliers of flat sump plates for the current Scorpa 250s?
