No there was more problems with them thats just one about the main bearing there was more i think during the week. Gavin

Right brand new Sherco for this SSDT (2004) after the first 2 sections the main bearings went. This i think is poor build quality and them not taking time to look at the problem and fix it with all there bikes. Gavin

As soon as you past you motorbike test even if you are 17 you are limited to 33 BHP. So past your test as soon as possible and yes you can ride the SSDT on a 250 or a 270 if you like. Gavin

Really well i was talking to soke mechanics and thats what they had to say. The 280 is really built for dry condtions with hot weather.Chris yes you had a go on them i ok but you havn't riden them for a long time and fully tested them. The guy i that i know is come to do the SSDT and has been a motorbike mechanic for many years. I will as him on both bike and i will tell you what he says. Also the 280 and 300 are both easy bike to flick about. Gavin
