I have just ordered new (standard) jets for the carb as the jetting was wrong (wrong as in not standard ), the needle setting was wrong, it was not at the standard place, it was set lower.

Hi, my TLR (ever since I bought it off sandy) has had a mis fire at high revs , now then I have put up with it as it doesn't matter for trials. but I want to sort it
I have:
standard exhaust,
New plug,
Set the tappets and
Cleaned the carb.
And I even took the plate off to get to the fly wheel, now then I have a TLR manual and have set most things to there right setting.
You know under the fly wheel cover is there anything that can be adjusted under there that would cause a mis fire?
I also have a timing gun but haven't tried it yet as it needs to be dark for it to work.
If I use the timing gun and find that the TDC mark is not lining up when it is firing what do I adjust to get it to fire at TDC ?
I used to have the old TL 125s and they had points thus meaning that I knew how to sort them , but the TLR being a TLR has a bleeding ECU !

Who's this "Jamie Stokes" ? I'm from no were near you , I think you must be thinking of someone with a different TLR200. After all there were 100s made mate.

What I do is get one of my mates to go ask the observer for help with starting there bike that wont run ( well duh it wont start with the HT lead disconnected !)well they are looking at "said" bike, you promptly kick/move /smash/throw! Any thing your not happy with , job done, works every time , every trial . I have even had the same observers fall for it more than once before now.

I hate it because its cr*p basically , I prefer the 4RT with pretty much all of its aspects ,The 4rt has (in my opinion) better brakes , better riding position , feels lights on your arms , more power , better power delivery, looks a hell of a lot nicer ,starts easier, sounds nicer ,and is 10 times nicer to ride. i WILL be getting a 4RT once my dad sells the house and has a bit more money.

Make your own one out of a bit of coloured plastic that's what i do , its easy enough to do

At last ! I have seen and riden a beta 4t and ...............I hate it ! ,I like the 4RT better, just a shame I cant afford one

Our astra was nothing compared to that
ASTRA:( only happed a week or so ago)
tip for you lot out there DONT DRIVE 70 IN TO A TREE THEN A BANK IT HURTS ! the 70 to 0 time was a few secconds !

I already did that. I bought my bike used 3 yrs ago turned the tire once. I finally had to break down and buy a new one. Now if I can just find time to put it on. I am soooo cheap.
Really ? Only one tire in 3 years ! ? ! ? We have a new one every 6 months, turn it half way throught its life ( 3 months use) ! so one in 3 years ! it must have been really knackerd !

02 had a solid brake pedal, 03 has one with a like end on a spring type thing so it doesant bend if you hit a rock.

There was a bike like that in the tmx not so long ago wasent there ? it was a crosser if I remember correct, I think it had a battery life of 5 hours for trials and 2 hours for mx racing

Hello, I am new to this site and I love it ! I have a TLR200 that I do trials on every weekend, it has Gold rims, standard exhaust, renthal bars,wide foot rest kit ect.
EDIT: I decided to remove the pics I posted as they maked my bike look bad, so I will get some nice ,better pics tomoz
