My dads 02 sherco 290 is ran at 70:1.

Change the foot rests, if you have the narrow ones. Yea they had been done before I got it. It's got really wide ones.

Ah rite thats why my brakes are so good , my brake cam is "I" shaped( some one must of modified it ?) , they are so good that on concrete(using the front brake) I can get the back wheel off the ground , only about a foot but non the less they are extremely good brakes. Thanks for clearing up why all the other TLR owners keep moaning to me that the TLR brakes are kak ,they keep asking how the hell I can stop going down the same stuff that they go flying down :S, So now I know. I will still tell them that its because I'm a better rider than them though.

Any one got any good tips/hints/modifications, or after market parts that they would recommend that make a difference to a standard (Ish) TLR200? I mean my brakes are spot on, It has got after market wide footrests, 10/44 gearing and the bike is very, very nice to ride, I do yellow route on it ( middle, and they are mono-shock events) and I drop the around the same dabs as my dad on a 2002 Sherco 290 with 20 years of riding experience, I ride this TLR better than I used to ride my Sherco 125. My standard silencer is on it's way out so I will be looking to get a new one soon , I am going to go for an after market one , but which one ??? WES? DEP? The one SAMMY MILLER makes for the TL125? (

I want to change my avatar to a different picture of my bike so I scaled it down to be under 30kb then sent it , it said thanks you avatar is now changed , I went to a post of mine to see if it looked all right but it is still my old one , if I go in to my user control panel it says my current avatar is the new one....Whats up with it ? TLR200 for the win!

Hi, I have a TLR200 ( UK spec not reflex ) and the brakes are extremely good. How often are you taking off the wheels and roughing up the brake shoe's and braking surface with (dry) wet and dry ?

I have just re painted the TLR and was wondering do any companys make carbon frame guards or do any of you have any good tips on stopping the paint wearing away were my boots go ? Cheers, HTLR.

Hi , I am by no means a novice at painting , so its not the "How to spray paint" side of things I need help with. ( I restored a 1956 Ariel colt 200,sprayed it all my self ect) But I am after some advice , What colour do you think I should paint the bike ? Red, white and blue tank and red frame, silver swing arm ? Was this the original paint style ? All red tank and all red frame ? Some wacky colour that no one has tried before ? Black. Green. Blue. Ect, Ect ? Also I think my TLR has its original paint , Great , I love that orangery/red , does any one know what name/paint code that Honda used if I do the red I will use this same shade see. Many thanks.

Do you wear gloves ? I found that if I don't do the Velcro up on them then I don't get arm pump , strange really.

mine used to do this , it had loads of washers packing it out , got a new sprocket now tho.(and a seal of course)

I put new rings in it , it has more power and better responce but still has the problem with the miss fire. note it is not a BACKFIRE, so does any one has any ideas what it could be ?

Hi I have got a TLR200 and I have got a 44T Rear and a 13t Front , my bike always stalls and has got not grunt (on the intermediate route) I have been told to get a 10 ???. Is this the best one to get or should I go even lower on the front ??? just another thing to add I always use first in all the sections,at every trial. I have never used seccond even in a section were other people on TLR's are using seccond , I still need to use first as mine is that higher geared ! Many Thanks, Honda_TLR
