any other advice appreciated

hi
looking at some other breather pipes on gas gas bikes, where it is attached to the bike ours is loose, where as on my mates bike it is stuck/solid to the bike, so think it might be coming from there, perhaps my lad has hit a rock or something and loosened it
-
Hi Ian i'm doing fine, thanks
thanks for your answers, both
might try and redirect the pipe so it's end is higher, see if that sorts it otherwise will have a good look on Monday, hopefully I will sort it, praying it's not the seals
thanks again Guys

Hi I have a gas gas 125 pro 2011
does anyone else have or had this problem, the oil from the gear box is trickling out of the breather pipe,
just emptied the gearbox and refilled it with 400ml, is level halfway on the glass
it's not coming out in bucket full and got a good 350ml out when I emptied it thinking there must be some left in couldn't possibly get the lot out
could it be the crank seals, they were replaced only 12 months ago, when we had gearbox problems (selector)
any advice appreciated
-
hi i'm looking into replacing the bottom bearing in the gasgas 125 standard shocker, it's 2011
does anyone know what the inner and outer diameters are, so i can go to my local bearing supplier
do you know if they are easy to get out and refit
any help appreciated
-
we don't have any problems with ours, use putoline atf change it after about 5 trials including a few practises in between, this on a gasgas 125 2011 no problems at all, touch wood
-
thanks for the replies,
i'll give Bob a ring on monday
hewson, i don't think mine had so many parts in them, mines a fantic 200 156
-
Hi i was trying to swap the stantions today on my fantic 200, when i took the internal bit apart it sprung all over the place, i've been looking for a diagram of the internal bits of the forks, to see if i have everything and also if i've put it back together correctly
does anyone know where i can find a picture of it , i have some sort of a manual but doesn't show the fork workings at all
any advice appreciated
-
thanks for the answers, very helpful
just one question though, are the steering bearings for the 200 the same as the 240,
-
thanks for your reply, i can't check the bearings as i bought the bike in bits and there isn't any bearings with it,
thanks anyway
-
Hi does any one know the tapered steering bearing size or part number for the fantic 200 156 so i can go to my local bearing company
thanks for any help

Hi i have been using putoline ATF oil in it, but have heard from somewhere about using comma ATF oil, would you use it in your bike, what do you think, is it any good, don't want to do it any damage
any advice appreciated
thanks
-
thanks for your replies, i've managed to get the top off, I heated it and it worked great, only found one seal in and a washer and circlip, haven't taken it any further to bits, yet am i likely to find another seal or would it have been with the one i found already
i'm currently renovating the bike so not putting it back together just yet, got to get them powder coated before that
thanks again
-
Hi
i'm going to put new seals in the fantic 200, does anyone have any diagrams of how how to do this, or advice on this, do you use 2 seals in each or just one in each leg.
the top nut, on top of the stantion is stuck, just can't seem to undo it, and don't want to damage them
any advice appreciated

great pictures and of the children , have seen them, Max is a top bloke, kieran started there about 5 years ago still progressing,
to Matt, thats not the white route that Sams on lol, he's top class expert rider,
see you all sunday
-
Hi there is a
conducted course, for beginners, with Max but don't think you'll need that lol, for the youngsters,
white route novice class,
yellow route, which is C class championship,
50/50 is half yellow and half red (expert) and is also the B class championship, which helps to progress to the expert route,
the expert route is the red route and A class championship
they do a training day once a month on saturday next one is the 15th if you are interested Gail or Dave Tuley organise it costs £20 and is very good
-
you'll be fine, i'd probably suggest the white route, if game for a laugh you'll enjoy it, if you find it too easy you can move up to yellow next time, my lad rides a Gas Gas 125 in the 50/50 route, if you need any help/advice, i've got a white combo van, and the others are very friendly and helpful, see you sunday!
-

i have a t reg combo and gets the gas gas 125 and can fit another bike in, facing them in opposite directions, great economical van, i put a seat in the back as well so can take both the sons, the other bike is a txt 50, without the seat would definately get 2 full size bikes in
