  1. I found a couple photos on the web of the mashed wheel and the Knight incident. I'm having trouble with the guys site connecting here. I'll figure it out.
  2. Thanks for the photos. I was going to crash the banquet, (too cheap for a $100 meal) and Grandma's camera battery died, so I didn't get any photos. Noel never takes photos anymore. Glad you have the bush covering Pat's feet, he wore the rattiest looking tennis shoes with that suit coat.
  3. I think Phil would've been mighty ticked at me if I ran out on the track to take photos of the mangled rim while he's got tire marks all over his back. For the record, of the 35 other riders on the track, the last person I would've ever expected to take out Phil was Montesa rider Keith Wineland. Colton yes, not Wineland. After the race, Keith came over and apologized. Are we mad at Keith? Heck no - that's EnduroCross racing. Keith is and always will be, the nicest guy in our sport. Back to our American EnduroCross stud Colton Haaker, who rode a two year old Montesa and was wearing a Gas Gas jersey. Vince is dead-on. All you importers reading this out there, here's your big chance, sign this kid to a contract. Next year EnduroCross is moving to a six round series. He is a unbelievable rider who has NO FEAR and is super fast. I mean SUPER FAST! If I wasn't already sponsoring a rider, I'd sign him in a heartbeat. There's plenty of major industry reports about the race already, here's my hat-tip.
  4. Taddy beat Knighter in the main event. Then Knighter wanted to beat the hell out of Taddy. You had to see it to believe it.
  5. Colton Haaker is the hot lap king, topping the Knighter by nearly a full second. Phillip has a sixth place spot on the hot lap times. Cody and Keith both had blistering times, but got caught in minor hang-ups ( Keith fell in the rock garden, Cody got stuck in the water pit) and were out of the top 10. Let the show begin.
  6. At last night's AMA awards banquet, Patrick was named the AMA Athlete of the Year. Congratulations to our national champ for winning such a prestigious award. The AMA made the right choice.
  7. Hello everyone. Vegas is outstanding, wish you were here. Colton and his ultra-fast Montesa stole the show yesterday. Way to go Colton. As for Jive sleeping. He tells me he was saving his energy for the nighttime activites. More later, I'm just waking up.
  8. To the best of my knowledge, a lot. That's if they even sell them.
  9. Sorry Sendero, can't make it. We won't be out there until Friday morning. We'll be going straight to the qualifiers at the arena. Please keep us informed on who's doing some practicing out there, if you could.
  10. Excellent, a place for Ringo to practice.
  11. My guess is TRW being a worldwide (global sales) automotive component making company, working with-in the Honda brand, makes the most dollars and sense (cents) on their investment in the World Trials Championship series. The sport is lucky to have a outside big-money teams like Future Trials Team. And back on subject, congratulations Alexz, you've earned this deal. Teams like this only look for the finest talent, who show great class on and off the course. You exemplify that type of person.
  12. Mich is going to love that one Zipster.
  13. If you would've read Shirty's report, you would know - Alexz isn't the best mechanic in the world. I knew there had to be a weakness in the UK Wonderkids game. Thanks for that tidbit Shirty......
  14. Friday qualifying is free. But it's during the afternoon, not evening.

  17. There goes any chance of me getting a press bib.
  18. In case you missed it, story front page. Mark, are you going to share some photos you took?

For Ron Lee, we'll be bringing some strong beer in return for the excellent service we received from you over the past month. Any chance I could get a bottle of that home-made wine?
  20. What I dig is this team looking into the younger talent pool and spending some money on the lower class. Well done to Jack for catching the eye of 'Top Team Trial' and scoring a sponsored ride for next year's 125 class.
  21. He's still banned from there too.
  22. Please, don't post ANY action shots. We've seen plenty already.
