We're all going to... well you get the picture.

Warning - Plumbers crack exposed as overweight motorcyclist crashes on moped
Super-slow mo at the end is a instant classic.

I posted a little story here for those who don't visit the homepage much.
Again, thanks to everyone who had a hand in putting on this event. Team Smage and their raggedy old companion City Trials (who almost lost his finger) gives this event the BIG thumbs up!
-
Late breaking news: Team Smage, including northernmom himself will be venturing into the land of.... well, I don't know what the land of Ohio is, but we're heading there.
That's unless we have late, late breaking news.
-
At 16, with two Pro national wins, Patrick practices and competes locally on a 125. If he can do it, anyone should be able to.
-
October Test used the AMA/NATC time format in the scoring. Florin and Smage each got nabbed not keeping track of time and got penalized accordingly.
-
A world champion from the good ole USA. Way to go Nicky, after last week, you could have kissed this one goodbye.
-
What a great place to start the season!

Things that can survive a nuclear bomb. Cockroaches, duct tape and bottom-feeding journalists.
I don't think a duct taped marker cost Chris the RI trials.
-
Funny thing, I emailed the people involved wanting to put this on the TC homepage and never got a response from any of them. I guess they felt this information was more suited for the forum section. There you go.
Aaron retires on top.

The best I can do is top three.
1st) Chris Florin - 15 points
2nd) Patrick Smage - 18.5 pts.
3rd) Keith Wineland - 22 pts.
4th) Phillip Smage - 60 something points.
5th) Marc Carpenter - As the annoucer said, the hardest 100 bucks he ever earned.
-
The Sherco got sandwiched between a couple of Gas Gases. Hat tip to Chris Florin who put on a excellent show. It was fun to watch you and Patrick battle it out all weekend. I know the fans loved it too. Great job on your victory.
-
Jive, I'm a bit bias, I'm putting all my eggs in Patrick's basket.
I know Cody's weakness. He can't splatter. Just ask him.
-
As top regional events go, yes, this isn't the best timing for the organization of the events. Kinda like the USA indoor being run in July. But, as northern mom sez, I guess we take what we can get.
My personal feeling is, a good time for the indoor trials events would be to attach them to the AMA industry winter motorcycle shows held in Indianapolis, Minneapolis and Chicago. It's got a audience already built in.

Looks like the cats out of the bag. Any other country, the manufacturer would have been tooting the whistles and ringing the bells - this is really big news. 10 time champ switches to so and so brand. We're so excited to have him on board - blah, blah, blah.
Or maybe it's still just a rumor and like the thread says, the end is near.
-
Say what? If true, this is stunning news.

You know something secret you're not sharing Barry? Is Chris switching his ride to Scorpa?

GNCC Press Release:
Hawk Wins Star-Studded GNCC Showdown in Ohio
World Champions Knight and Salminen finish fourth and fifth
St. Clairsville, OH
-
The following is a release from GNCC Racing:
The battle has been brewing for two years, and now two World Champions - Finland's Juha Salminen and Isle of Man's David Knight - will face off at this weekend's Power Line Park GNCC in St. Clairsville, Ohio, round 12 of the Suzuki Grand National Cross Country Series.
Salminen is the current champion of the U.S.-based GNCC Series. Knight, the current FIM World Enduro Champion in the E3 class, will race the GNCC Series in the U.S in 2007 for the factory KTM team. He will use this weekend as a test, but this will be the only time he faces Salminen, who will head back to Europe next season.
Salminen was the dominant rider in Europe's World Enduro Championship for nearly a decade, and then he headed to the U.S. for 2005 to find a new challenge. He dominated the U.S. scene from the start, winning the 2005 GNCC title and then clinching it again in 2006. Back in Europe, Knight upgraded to the factory KTM team to take Salminen's place, and dominated his championship class for the last two years. While Salminen did best Knight for World titles in years previous, it's clear that Knight is a totally different rider than he was two years ago. Besides winning two World Enduro titles, Knight won the ISDE overall, the Red Bull Last Man Standing, the Maxxis EnduroCross and the Erzburg Rally, making him nearly undefeated in two years of racing.
But Salminen is well-versed in the three-hour GNCC game. He has rung up a remarkable record, winning 17 out of 23 GNCCs since moving here in 2005, making him possibly the most dominant rider in the nearly 30-year history of the series. The two will collide this Sunday at 1 p.m. at Power Line Park in St. Clairsville, Ohio, just outside of Wheeling, WV, off of I-70.
Both Salminen and Knight will ride four-stroke machines, with Salminen on the 2007 250 XC-F and Knight on the 2007 450 XC.
There are plenty of spoilers out there looking to ruin the KTM 1-2 punch. Am Pro Yamaha's Barry Hawk has been the most consistent challenger to Salminen over the last two years. Super-rookie Charlie Mullins is hungry to finally get his first win after countless top-three finishes the last two seasons. FMF/Suzuki's Australian threat Glenn Kearney is similarly on the verge of his first win. Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki veteran Fred Andrews is always fast on his home turf in Ohio. RER Motorcity's Nathan Kanney is coming off of his first-ever GNCC win two weeks ago, and Ohio's own Robbie Jenks has wrapped up his first-ever AMA National Hare Scrambles Championship.
The facility is located at Exit 213 off Ohio I-70 to Route 331 N.. Roughly 15 miles from Wheeling, W.Va.

I think I mentioned somewhere here before, Patrick and Phillip Smage will be challenging the Pro class money - oops, I mean pro class line. And fresh from his almost clean day on Sunday's Baraboo Hill fall Calssic, your's truly will be trying out his new Gaernes (see if they dab or if they can stay on the pegs) in Langley also.
And if someone could send me a poster of the event or lead me in the right direction, I'll post it on the homepage.
-
Bingo, I didn't know you raced moto-x too.
-
When I read this Andy story, I couldn't help but think of this poor guy.
-
Jack actually lost the 70 year old AMA title this year to Gary Wing from Kansas.
-
Untimely? Please, this guy was asking to die.
-
All you need is a AMA card and money. No rules prohibiting a 125 in Pro class. As you already know, Dale Malasek at Gas Gas USA is a great help for you Gas Gas riders.
