Are the day three results coming soon?
-
You bet it will, I'll be there!
Dan, if you don't have the time, I can put the results on the frontpage.
-
Thanks for the update Dan, not to be premature, but I would guess the lil crew cut kid took top honors.
-
The defending National Champion didn't ride open class?
Louise Forsley? What's up with that?
-
Thanks Dan, lil Ibsen must be putting on a show. Go Will!
-
Thanks Dabster! Alexz must be a bit miffed today, huh? Darn french kids.....
-
USA Youth National Round One is in the books, any results for this championship event?
-
That she would! Who's the kid in front of Mr. Wigg?
-
Cream of the Crop! Hands down...
But, I just know (gut feeling) with WCT experience, Cody could be right on his heels.
Nigel, fill me in, is Alexz got that 125 Youth Cup ride at Hawkstone?
Really waiting to hear the outcome?
-
And yes, Patrick Smage and Cody Webb are Sherco.
-
Stevie Darrow (Colorado) is 16 and he's Gas Gas.
Will Ibsen (Georgia) I think is 15 or 16 and is a Sherco.
Max Malsbary (California) is Gas Gas. He's 15 or 16.
Andy Bowman ( Minnesota ) 15 or 16 is on a Montesa.

This is a two day. Want to test yourself? Tell us your picks for top three on Saturday, then tell us your pick to win for Sunday.
-
Forty votes and one for series leader Fugi?
WOW.
-
Check out the Aaron rig in the background.
-
Which rider do you believe comes out on top?
-
I'm with Andy, sections like these with natural rocks and logs bring the mountain to the fans. This was a killer section for all to see.
-
Ian... Can't wait to see the footage, nice seeing you again. Maybe next year.
-
Outside of the World Indoor's and SSDT, very few events draw the excitement/buzz/hype of the Duluth World Round. Looking at the threads on TC forum, we have been chatting about this event since mid-May..
Let's hear some theories why? The theory that Andy and Kinell were in attendance doesn't count. They didn't attend in 2004 and this event had the same buzz.

Now, chances are...you are caught doing this once, you are doing this more than once...
OK, let's be fair and say it's done a 1/3 of the time and gone un-noticed. That would be 20 points off the score card given there are 10 of the 30 sections per event.
Let's say you do this, not get caught and get a clean... that's another five off the card.
Get the picture. Lot's of points can be shaved.
I see nothing wrong with removing sticks or leafs, breaking a stick from a tree that might poke an eye out, making a outline mark with the boot to secure a mental angle to use, kicking loose rocks out of the way.
It's the using the boot's to move rocks into a set postition for leverage, using the hands to do the same. I find worthy of a five call.
Photo review.
Here's a call that could have changed the standings.
Section five... day two... loop one.
Matteo has clearly scored a five, but he got a three on the card. His mechenic/minder is in the section.
Rules stated which sections could have how many helpers/minders/mechenics in on a certain section, 125 Youth Cup was said to have no one in any of the sections other than the rider. Period. Did the observers get this printed sheet?
Matteo came in second, one point ahead of Loris. This would have changed the results by two points putting Loris in second.
Question, does the press have the right to say... hey that was a bad call, check the rule book? In most other sports, commentators do this all the time.

This is Bill Smage, AKA Wild Bill. Quad Trials pilot.
-
Flash floods rush off with Team Honda/Montesa.
-
-
Dougie on section on, I believe this is the crash that cashed the wrist, check the observer baling out too.
-
Here are a few photos Bill Smage sent me. This is a group photo of the observers and riders making the call to close the bottom sections for the second loop on Sunday.
