Engine was set on the softest map of 3.

The front suspension is much the same as others I feel, certainly no worse, just down to set up. The big advantage for me was the ohlin shock, these are graet and I will get an ossa this year or one for a sherco, not that the standard shock is bad. The bike feels light riding and just taking it off thestand, yes very similar to an evo in riding position, but thats not far from a sherco or gasser now anyway, I think they are all close and now the ossa too. I noticed the position of the bars and levers more than owt else.

Well I got to ride one today and I am very impressed. I think it was a production bike, with perhaps a couple of parts which haven't been finished off, namely the exhaust and possibly the silencer. It looks very neat and tidy very well made with top quality components and well finished. the fi seems to work real well and everything works as it should. The bike was brand new so everything felt very stiff and tight, but the suspension was plush and worked very nicely, never bottoming even with my lard ar$e. Grips really well smooth pick up and it was set on the soft map which made it very docile reflected in the grip. Nice. Radically different ride no, worth an extra few bob, probably.

Yea, thats what I thought.

My guess is if the rim is holding at low pressure before riding the sokes may be loose? Has the wheel been trued/tensioned? if not then get it done with the tape off. betas are the worse as their nipples seem too big, i have had some success with grinding off the tops which makes the tape sit much much better. Avoid sikaflex if possible.

Why does fi produce better emmisions on a 2t over a carb?

You shouldn't be so sensitive, I was saying second was a good result matching his best at Beta. Sour grapes or not, comments like "all that was on offer" is insulting to any of our countries best young riders.
