i had a 2005 300 pro. it was great but i found it tiring towards the end of a trial, i recently purchased a 2008 250 pro and am very impressed. much easier to ride plus plenty of power. would suggest you get a 250 unless your raga.
managed to get a second hand stator plate from ellastone. started first kick. sounds sweet for a 22 year old. think i will keep her and ride in local bath classic club trials . happy fantic days. p.s . i may ride my new gas gas as well .

i have a 1985 fantic 300 pro twinshock. it recently stop running and i found no spark at plug.its in average condition , i want to sell it , how much is it worth, being that it is a non runner. i did replace the top h.t coil and have had the source coil rewound still no spark, have had enough.
My lovely gasser 300 05 sometimes (quite rarely) will not start when warm. Particulary, after ive just looked at a section. bummer. i do look after it . Anybody got any tips ?
it is the later type i believe . ducati is printed on the reverse of the stator .three cables to the h.t red green white. still no closer to the solution though. maybe coil is breaking down and does need rewinding? any comments greatly appreciated.
