Andy have you heard anymore news about the new Fantic? Just wondering if there is any incling as to what it might be like ie. engine cc and engine stroke (4 stroke or 2 stroke)?
Yeah the valves should be more than ok in a trial bike, I only mentioned them before cos in the 250F MXer the engines take a LOT of abuse and some people do neglect the valves when they should be checked regularly. The results can be erm very costly
I would call your local dealer! I know Yamaha used to have an acceptable limit for using oil on their high performance 4 strokes (R1's/R6's) but I would'nt have thought there should be much on your Scorpa engine! And 300cc does seem like a lot for any engine!
Not if its anything like the YZ250F that it is based on! Those things can really haul!Those titanium valves cost a fortune tho when you have to renew them!!
Hmmm am I the only one that doesnt like it then? Im sure it will be a great bike and that motor is certainly a good one but to me it just doesnt look finished. It looks kinda thrown together compared to the good looking SY250!
Hmmm it would be a shame if the 200 was discontinued! More people should try them as they are a very capable bike and easier to ride than the 250/280/300cc bikes IMO!
No not yet mate I am nearly there, just got the chain, sprockets and brakes to sort then she is done but I just havent had the time to do anything lately
