  10. sirdabsalot you give your location as 34:12n 118:52w,how close are you to lancaster, LOS ANGELES,
  11. Thats really important................not so you want me to ride in pitch black and ride into a tree and smash myself on it? ok great to know someone cares.. charltons is ok,good if you just wanna ride around for fun and theres about 5 or 6 sections, it could do with more theres no pics anywhere i dont think you won't be riding around charltons in the dark because in winter time the gate gets double locked at dusk ie the warden put's another lock on,there's more sections available than that i suppose it all depends on your ability if it's plenty of section practice you want join scarbrough club, 140 acres, loads of rocks, and any other section you get in most trials

  13. landrover replied to mcman56's topic in Beta
HI MCMAN56 it's the one under the skid plate, it's very likely a socket head bolt (allen key) type
  14. i run my 02 montesa at 80:1,thats 56.25ml oil to 4.5 liters of petrol(1 gallon) i use optimax petrol and runs with no problems i also use a syringe to measure out the oil (get from local bike shop or vets) its a more accurate measurement
  15. HI LIONSSON IF it's been stood that long,i'd change your gearbox oil, and if it's had petrol in that long i would change that also,we use either pj1 light clutch tuner or motul in the gearbox and either pj1 or motul fully synthetic two stroke oil,i would also take the carb off and give it a good clean out with carb cleaner and a airline i am not realy sure of the petrol/oil mix but i would think about 50:1 hope that helps

  17. none of our other sherco's do it 04-290,03-290,02-250 just the 02-200 is the only one that we have had any trouble with the clutch
  18. HI social climber we have a 2002 sherco 200 and thats the same, but only when it's been stood a while, ie overnight we have tried everything short of changing the clutch,we found starting the bike let it warm up,lift the back wheel put it into gear,go through all the gears to 4th then pull and release the clutch lever a few times and this stops the drag also the oil we use is very light pj1 clutch tuner in all the our bikes except the sherco 290(motul) i hope this helps
  19. bob m try colin appleyard on 01535-606311, www.colinappleyard.co.uk they sponsor a sidecar trial also have a couple of side car riders
  20. hi erixon see if you can try either bike before you buy, personaly i would go for the montesa, iv'e tried both bikes ,gas gas definately not for the faint hearted the montesa is a lot smoother to ride and until you get used to it fit a slow throttle(black) on the other hand with the gasgas you have plenty of choice with the differant cc ,montesa only do 250cc
  21. landrover replied to a post in a topic in General Trials Talk

try lewisport usa they do a heavy duty skid-plate, you can also get the plate to protect the down pipe from them also at a reasonable price
  24. Subira, My mont is the 2002 model, the jitsie kit has lifted the back up a quiet a bit but has no adverse affect on the handling, lost a little grip while the spring was wound up so I slackened it of a bit, With no noticeable affects on the steering
