The '70's CX500 Honda's had push rod motors. They would rev to the moon, and were a lot more powerful than their 500cc size would seem. Smooth too. The current Honda TRX model quads all have push rod engines too. Super low profile cylinder for low center of gravity...which is better no matter what Beta tries to tell us. So a push rod 4T GG may be just the ticket, less complicated too as there is no cam chains to deal with. Easy valve adjusts too. 350cc, EFI and the push rod motor. Now I'm drooling. :guinness:

Yeah I just stumbled on that pic which is the one they'll use in their enduro. That's from an old article from last March. A push rod valve engine would be way shorter especially if it was a flat head motor which a push rod engine could easily be.

Hope it does not have casting holes in the crank cases like

my mates pro, two to be precise when he spoke to gas gas

they said only two holes you must have a good one!

Not so bad oil leaking out of a two stroke but on a four

stroke disaster Can't wait to see the problems they will

have with these if it is anything kike the pro was when

released.

Don't forget the rim's that don't seal and you have to

sort that out yourself oh yeh that applies to all

the bikes but the mont's good really a rim manufacturer

that can't make them do the one thing their supposed to

do hold air!

The bike of choice for the London Dispatch rider. I see a CX500 wheelie across Chelsea Bridge, the rider missed a gear whilst the front was up and blew the engine big style. The CX was good for one hundred thousand miles and more, its replacement the VT500 was crap and had a cham chain.

Gas Gas 350cc with EFI and weighing in less than 70kg. Can they do, or more importantly do they think this is the bike for clubman - bearing in mind the other three manufacturers are all competing for the clubman sales market wouldn't it be nice to think Gas Gas is going for the clubman Expert market with this bike motor?

Why dont you just stay in the beta section you clearly love the bike you ride so go talk about it and stop critisicing the other bikes. Its not a Whos bikes better debate.

Where did you get this news from anyway about a 4 stroke ?
