Later model guards do fit, looks to have a fairly late model white guard on it to me

When I had a 01 I ended up fitting the later model front caliper for an improved brake, you need to change the disc guard at the same time though

An '01 Sherco is a great bike. Smooth and bulletproof.

I really miss mine.

A 2 piston caliper from a later model will bold right on and is a sensible update.

I think the "01 also has a 1-piece brake pedal and the later one with hinged end is another good update.

Confirmed :icon_salut:

I remember a painful experience when I couldn't locate the original ,smaller, rear-brake-pedal in a hurry.

My 2000 has the same brake pedal, I have a piece that bolts onto the pedal making the foot contact surface larger. But these one piece cast aluminum pedals really don't like rocks. I have 2 pedals (one for back up) and they both have been broke and welded back together, damn things are too expensive to keep buying new ones.

I did not know that the newer pedals with the hinged end would fit the older bikes. I may have to look into that.
