    K-Scan for Ossa

Hi Guys, could someone let me have a copy of the software and let me know what type of lead I require ? Thanks in advance
  2. Don't bother also don't get a reconditioned one from Gas Gas i have tried all these routes before !! each of the three recon lasted 2weeks/3weeks/20mins !!! My son's has been running fine for the last seven months since i fitted a stator from a kart, if you ring Planet karting (google it ) they can supply you just the stator or cdi and coil as well !! it all just bolts on otherwise you can fit a system from a polini mini moto early type but this requires a lot more work regarding fitting i also looked into getting one made by various companys with only electrics world showing any intrest but again it would be several months to make try ect, so i didn't bother. Real shame as the bike is fantastic and theres nothing better for there age group i have also found the bike runs much better if you cut the under side of the airbox lid to twice its size carburation is much clearer i also had the radiator fan fail also no longer available !! this is just a fan out of a computer which is available from a electrical wholesalers called farnells i just gave them the part number off the back it had superseeded to a new number but is the same and runs fine £7.50 +p&p hope all this helps :-)
  3. totally agree ben blame the importers they are to blame
  4. Hi everybody Zona1 guys have been busy working away at there Aggs hill (piccadilly farm) venue above Cheltenham, there are some new sections this year including a double sub waterfall section for all the experts out there !! Weather this coming week looks good so all the sections should be in good order consisting of 16-18 sections and three laps of around 3-4 miles a lap. Last year saw an entry of over a hundred for this Open event, so get your entries in before it fills up !! for what is one of the best venues in the Western Centre with a percentage of the proceeds going to Great Ormond street - see you there !! JUST TO ADD A BURGER VAN HAS NOW BEEN BOOKED FOR THE DAY
  5. As you and your son are members of Zona 1 why don't you enter him on the conducted route ? next trial 20th May. The GREEN route has been put on for kids and adults alike, who are at this stage of riding ability !!!!
  6. Just need the manufactures to make a NEW twinshock and we can go back to the 70/80's just what the backward thinking ACU wants it seems ? how are we going to get a young british rider to compete on the world stage with these rules ? It seems we need to send our kids to live in Spain/Italy to stand any chance of them making it to the top ? Trials needs the same rules from the top to the bottom and should be decided by the FIM and the individual countries governing bodys we should all then as clubs/centres abide by this decision what ever our personal opinions and get on with enjoying and promoting this great sport of ours. All this squabbling and confusion is doing is nothing but harm to our sport…..good ride by Brad Cox on a 125 some unlucky 5s but great first attempt also good to see the JTG up there with Ross as well

    Cota 200

    50:1 should be about right
  8. fantic 200 all the way you can't beat them :-) and you can still get bits !!
  9. If you had left the fuel tap on and the float valve in the carb had stuck or has dirt in it the engine will flood if this is the case take out the plug and then kick it. If not then take the flywheel cover off and turn the engine over again with the plug out if it turns over easy then you need to look at where the kick start shaft goes through the case, it may be a bit rusty put the bike on its side and remove the kick start and the cover clean as required if its not this then it could be gearbox etc hope you get it fixed :-)
  10. Clean your carb out and check the settings, also check the reed block is ok and that the reeds are seated correctly, also make sure the reed block/inlet rubber are sealed and you have no air leaks. If all is well check the kill switch, otherwise it could be the dreaded stator thats on its way out, if this is the case don't bother calling Gas Gas they don't sell the stators any more only exchange recon ones that don't seem to last. Call Planet Karting they have new old stock. Selettra don't make this system any more, i'm trying to come up with a replacement myself- Good luck ! I use 50:1 as stated in the manual seems to run smoother
  11. wouldn't put that in a lawnmower !! mobil 1 all the way in mine always best to stick to oil from a large manufacture they have the most money the best chemists and therefore the best oils so mobil/shell/castrol/elf are the best choices in my opinion i asume you have a evo 300 4t ? 2stroke oil same rules apply, 2t gearbox oil elf is the only oil that stops the plates sticking
  12. Also just noticed on your pics that the taper the flywheel sits on is damaged looks past lapping to me even if you were to risk the thread
  13. The thread is knackered get a new one !!! not worth bodging it, it will let you down for sure. Not to mention the vibration issues a loose flywheel will cause ,it may even fall off and create more damage

    Fantic 200 Pegs

Moved mine back and down, all you need to do is make a new brake rod to suit (B&Q sell lengths of bar just tap the thread on the end and bend other end in a vice) .Also moved the bars forward, front hole became the back hole, not straight forward conversion but definitely worth it love mine now :-) Sammy miller shocks, Magicals fork springs job done !
  15. They refer to the piston to bore clearance, you should use an A piston with an A barrel and so on You could send the barrel and piston to langcourts and have the barrel replated, to suit the piston. If the barrel has an iron liner fitted it may have been bored and honed to suit this piston ? you need to find out what clearance you have measure the piston with a micrometer 10mm up from the bottom of the skirt (front to back) and note the size then measure the barrel bore with an internal micrometer and minus from the other which will give you the clearance you have check your manual to see if its in tolerance hope this helps and good luck
