  2. Pauls320 thank you so much for your comment. If I did not inspect head grooves I would of slammed it back with a new o-rings and afterwards would be like🤔 I was suspicious though, because when disassembling I figured by the head bolts that the head was done before, and when I inspected o-rings they were flexible an in like new condition. Previous owner must of bin frustrated for not fixing it and sold it for cheep, because buying Ossa TR280i ORT series in such a good condition overall is a catch for 1000chf.

  4. found it when googled in Spanish, I thought it was discontinued or something🙄
  5. What carb is on the bike? Should be a pwk, but old enough it could be anything.

  7. This bike is based on a 125 frame , the 125 was a very popular TY version in France as it was a road going Trial motorcycle , the frame had a lot of extra weight because it carried lots of extra lugs and brackets to take all the street bike rubbish like indicators , ignition switches ,battery etc unlike the much lighter competition version that the TY175 was/is . Here is some inspiration if you want to take ownership further. https://youtu.be/b2fMtHB2bv0?si=EsqKQCv7u5ZNV
  8. I highly recommend the Trial Solutions levers and they do fit Beta. You’ll love them!
  9. It’s called Bultaco Bootlace Yellow and you can order it from here: https://www.rsbikepaint.com/oem-matched-motorcycle-paint-colour.php?locale=en-US&rs_colour_order_ref=37337
  10. Yes, it would! It’s standard size just a smaller engine.
  11. OK, I found one more next to it and next to a muffler mount (photo1),it was almost invisible util I started digging into it.... next one in line further away from muffler mount (photo2).
  12. New throttle put on, cable oiled and free as a daisy

  14. Any one have a head to sell?🤕
  15. The moment I read your comment my friend I had that feelung, flashing images in my mind that I could not see anything wrong on old o rings. So after ansvering first I imediatly took my magnifying lens. And voila...😢
  16. Great point! Thank you for advice. I will inspect. I was just checking if the head is flat, while waiting on o ring shipment. Managed to take a head off pretty easy but thinking about changing 25mm T25 M5 bolts with a hex kind, so I can torque them without engine out. Or if I take engine out to drill 2 holes into a frame and weld some small pipes inside of those holes to strengthen frame in drilled points, so I can use those holes to reach 2 most critical head bolts to reach. Also planed to make a comment about a muffler. I mean, even though I really respect Ossa's designe team work in many ways, making muffler into a prying tool for an engine head is such a bad idea. I am seriously considering doing some mod to dissconect muffler fron an engine.
  17. Does anyone have any info on the dimensions of the TY125 majesty. Would one of these be useable by an adult.
  18. I am nearing completion on the restoration of an Alpina model 138 and am looking for the paint code, or the name of the orange/yellow paint on the side covers, and the swoosh on the tank. Any assistance or insight is appreciated.
  19. Good afternoon, I have a 2011 beta evo 250 2t. Had it for a couple of years now. Having s issue where when I rev it, it can take ages to come back down. I have tried messing with mixture screw and doesnt seem to make any difference if 2 out or 3/4 out. I have had the card apart and clean all indivicdual components with carb clean. Again no difference. I have tried to spray brake clean at intake system to see if it revs it doesnt change. Am I right in thinking this could be the crank seal? Or am i barking up the wrong tree? Also its does idle fine. TIA
  20. I have most of a 1968 B44. The main thing I don't have is an engine, and these engines seem hard to find. Would a Triumph unit twin fit into that frame without too much trouble?
  21. Last week
  22. I would have thought that 28 was a bit big, but give it a try it will probably close as is.
  23. Youtube video is live if anyone cares to watch! Figured this may be better since I'm out of photo uploads. Part two coming soon.
  24. Be a good idea to inspect the o-ring grooves in the back side of the head for cracks. The exhaust mount bolts to the head stay and if the suspension is bottomed out it tags the header pipe and levers against the cylinder head , have seen it fracture the head in the mentioned location ..hopefully yours is okay
  25. There is a few different types of Stators for the BOY50 so make sure you order the correct one for your bike. The real early ones were much simpler construction, o easy to distinguish visibly. We have the Leonelli ones in stock. https://www.thehellteam.com/stator-flywheel-boy
