Anyone know if the Edin St.George Lauder trial is being held this year, I don't see it in the SACU list of nationals.

Did anybody ride in the Middlesbrough Lazenby Bank trial today, if so what were your views on it. Has anyone had any results of the trial yet. Dave

Le Allan Jefferies Trial You know, that if the biggest cycle race on the planet wants to get in on the act, it is a seriously good event! Plans are afoot for the 2014 Allan Jefferies Trial. Dates changed from the usual due to the Tour de France taking a small detour (depart) through Gods own country, the Yorkshire Dales. AJ2014 Just a sneak preview as to what is being planned the Allan Jeffery Trophy Trial on the 13 July 2014. Overall, there are some significant changes planned for this year. Namely, out goes the usual loop out from Kettlewell, up Park Rash and back down into Kettlewell. Course plotters Major Injury (MI) and General Disdain (GD) felt that the usual sections in Diamond Pastures were “getting a little tired and in need of a rest”. In comes new, never been used sections at Ellershaw Farm, Hagg Gill and Bouther Gill. Add to all this, a different route over the final moor and riders should have a great day in prospect. Leamington Victory Group Trial 13th Jan. The home team convincingly won the first round of the 2008 Midland Centre Group trials series with 1031 points to reigning champions Stratford's 1016 with Dudley third on 991. The much expected heavy rain which had been forecast all week, did it's best to make the trial a particularly tough one and indeed scores were on the high side with Ross Danby taking the win on with 23 marks lost from Richard Allen on 28 and Buster Reagan on 32. We rode in the Leamington Victory Long Distance Trial starting at Southam Rugby Club today. Following a written route card, the course included around 60 miles of trail riding with 24 observed sections onthe way. Set out for trail bikes, the sections were mostly wide and straight forward so losses were kept to an absolute minimum for the regular LDT riders; however some of the 'first timers' found the going more challenging riding bikes such as Gas Gas EC200's and KTM enduro bikes. HI all, I'm wanting to do the Leamington Victory trial at Catesby on March 19th. Trouble is that there is no Phone number in the T&MX regs. so, I then tried to ring the club secretary..(number found in the ACU book)...and his number must have changed, 'cause I was told it was the wrong number. Ledbury Mcc will be running their Gordon Lea Classic Trial sunday March 9th at clyro court woods near Hay on Wye Herefordshire. Due to last minute venue change. The club will be taking entrys on the day. Classes. 2stroke Pre 70, Unit Pre70, Pre Unit, Twinshocks, Over 40 Air Cooled?, Novice /beginner, Trail Bike Air Cooled The club also are taking entrys from riders on modern machines who want a days sport. Just rode my first ever trial with Ledbury MCC. What a friendly club, and what a lovely trial. All very clearly marked out, good variety of sections...and what an AMAZING venue!! Never been to Clyro before, and frankly I couldnt believe my eyes. Looking forward to the next one already. Keep up the good work, and thanks for doing enter on the day...very helpfull for me, (selfishly) since I never know untill often the day before, if I will have to work or not. THANKS!

The Ledbury MCC Classic/Modern trial at Clyro Court (Baskerville Hall Hotel) near Hay on Wye for this sunday 29th Nov is DEFINATELY ON, club stalwart Mike Jones and myself checked the venue today and were pleasantly surprised to find that it is in good rideable condition,so see you sunday(see calendar for info). The closing laps of the Lincolnshire POACHERS PRE-65 TRIALS CLUB event came to a sticky end at the historic wartime airfield venue of Wickenby on October 28th. Heavy showers made the already nadgery sections a bit more tricky for both riders and those observers unlucky to be without cover. Although the course was set with big bikes in mind the more agile two-stroke riders also needed concentration to keep their scores down. Most successful Premier Route route rider was Mick Ash together with Clubman Alan Hunt- both going clean all day. What a fantastic trial! the sections were superb, they wer'nt over the top at all, just right. How many trials can you ride like that in the year, 40 sections 1 lap all off road, at a venue like that? Brilliant! And a huge turnout aswell. Thanks to the Llanfyllin club for a well organised fantastic trial. Back again next year!!

What is the trial like? Me and my dad are thinking of going and doing the trial Ive done other Trials like this but i was just wondering what it would be like?

Hi there, I'm sat here nursing a broken wrist(not been on the bike for a while) but should be back in a few weeks i hope. I've been told by a few of the lads to give the Loch Lomand trial a go but never really heard much about it. Whats it like for difficulty, section set up etc? I'd be riding in youth a is that all good? What does it compare to trials nearer my end? a bit like the jack wood? any help would be great, cheers.

Has anybody seen any results for the Loch Lomond 2 day trial?

Had a go at the LL 2 day this year and was extremely annoyed with myself for not having done so earlier in my riding career. What a superb event, location, and a cracking bunch of folks who organise and run the event. First day was a one lap - 50 mile route taking in 40 sections (all off road so my lad and his mate even had a go on there none-road-legal bikes) with breath-taking views over 6 1/2 hours, second day was 2 laps (12 mls per lap) of 25 sections. Its going to be a priority next year so get it in your diary!! Eiger.
