Hi Guys, well i have just sold my trusty 03 Sherco 290, I just got my best result in a local boxing day trial so I thought it's time to treat myself, I had no idea which way to go, I wasn't to keen on the sherco been 5 speed, massive step from 3rd to 4th so that sort of put me off the sherco's, Anyway I have dived in a bought a 2011 Beta 290, 8 months old and road registerd, I think I got it cheap

After riding trials for over 35 years, also having a few years off with family commitments - The Long Mynd 2 Day Trial has to be the best trial I've ridden in the UK. (entries were full within 24 hrs of release) say no more. South Shropshire MCC do a fantastic job in every aspect, a fabulous team effort. The land and route used are 2nd to none - to be fair the team are planning months ahead. Report and pictures sent to the Media and guess what, no pictures published, just a small section published even though the editor was contacted. Why do others get a full page of pictures on a club trial ? This is not the first time this has happened and it totally brasses me of…

I was very pleased to read about the ACU award for Kathryn Wardle. I have seen her ride in a number of trials over the last couple of years, she is a great competitor and a credit to the sport.

Hi everybody. Has anybody recieved their ACU handbook yet. I asked for mine on CD and it isn't here yet. A mate of mine ordered the book and that hasn't arrived yet either. The ACU told me it would be here by the second week in Janruary. What's going on???

Hi all, I am in the process of restoring a bitsa Bultaco. The frame is a model 85 250 Alpina and the motor is a model 49 250 Sherpa. What I am after is a service kit for the rear shocks, I have looked in numerous places and can't find any, does anyone know where I might get them? Thank you all for your time.

Our club recently lost permission to use a venue that has been use only one or twice a year for the past thirty years or more. The venue is Nigg Bay which is a very short stretch of rocky coast line just at the mouth of Aberdeen harbour. The land crossed to access the coast is council owned and for the past thirty plus years they have been happy for us to cross it. The venue itself is on the rocks between the high and low water marks and as such is Crown land not under the councils control but as I said we need to use a coastal path to access it. Two year ago a council member was walking his dog on the only day we used it and has kicked up a fuss. At a council meeting las…

Looking for a trial this Sunday near Oswestry area (within 50-60 miles if poss), so we're talking Mid Wales, Cheshire, Shropshire, West midlands probably. I've not got hold of TMX and nothing in TC calendar - Nettleton is a bit far from here really ( could do with replacing trailer wheel bearings otherwise I'd think about it). Anybody?

Anyone know where I can get a very small registration number plate for my trials bike, I know it's illegal etc. Obviously made of Aluminium so it doesn't break, and I guess something 4" x 4" ?

I turned out to observe for the Evesham Club today at their Vale of Evesham trial which is a round of the Midland Centre Solo championships. To my amazement, there were 100 riders in the entry list and the hard working secretary of the meeting Sam Wickham mentioned that she'd turned 30 away as the entry was full before the closing date. I've been riding for just 15 years but can never remember a Midland event where riders were turned away due to being full. It goes to show that the riders are out there. This was the first time the new 50/50 (Masters?) championship had been run, and there was a significant number of riders in this class, so perhaps the trials appeal was…

The Mid Wales Centre will be running an extra round of the 2005 Novogar Championships on 25th September 2005. As the ACU stated on their website, they have been looking for extra rounds to replace cancelled events, and the Mid Wales Centre have confirmed that they are available to organise on this date. The Mid Wales Centre Secretary asked me to post the Regs and Entry Form here on TrialsCentral. This is a joint effort within the centre, not associated with any one club, so things are looking pleasantly healthy on the manpower front. Original News Article Here Maps, Rider Lists, Results Etc will be posted in due course on: Llanfyllin website www.trialspace.co.uk a…
