Does anyone have any experience of any relly heavy duty stapler guns that may be suitable for upholstering a seat. Not mickey mouse - not focus , b and q diy jobs I need to firmy fix metal staples into plastic and ive tried 3 fairly good staplers and they are not up to the job. The staples bend and the is not enough power. Air stapler ? Electric stapler Any recommendations from experience?

It looks like all the previous TR34 owners have upgraded or broken their bikes as they have stopped asking questions! Therefore it is my turn to ask a newbie question. I've not done an oil change on my 1989 TR34 yet and I have no idea what oil to use. Reading other threads has left me bamboozled. I know I need 800cc gear oil as it states this on the Beta website. What is the best grade oil as I don't have to worry about having a Beta with a dodgy hydraulic clutch? Also I'm currently using up an old Motul 2T oil at about 70/1 with the expensive shell high octane petrol. The trusty Beta website says I should use Semi Synthetic so I was looking at either the PJ1 or Si…

Wrighty called me this evening and mentioned that he is short of a Garelli and a Moto Gori trials bike for his show next year. There are a number of themes to the 2010 show and Italian Twin shocks is one, he would be very interested in speaking to anyone who has a nice example that they might like to display. Pete

The rear wheel on my skywalker has a broken hub. Does anyone know of a similar wheel that i could use. The rear is disc type. I have been told a gas gas may fit but not sure what one. Can anyone help.

hi all can any one help me i am looking for some close up pics of a frame and tank of a jcm as they have a petrol tank under the seat i have loads os parts layin about in my workshop eg. forks ,engine wheels so i think i will put them to good use by makin a special trials bike with petrol tank under the seat so if any one could help me out on any pics i would be most greatful so i can design my own frame with the jcm design incoprated into my design thanks my email is millerme@hotmail.co.uk

I'm looking for some good quality pics of a 87' garelli 323 trials bike, so i can get the graphics made for my garelli. the 87' model has a white frame and the graphics are different on the 86' which is the red frame.

Steve Jewitt was the Mecatecno uk importer and was based on the High street in Driffield ,Northumberside. I think his father may have been named Colin. I need to ask him a few bits a pieces re the skywalker and Dragonfly bikes i have.Noone has any info on these bikes at all and i figure that Steve may be my last chance at shedding some light .Is he still involved in the biking community?. Please either post what you know or Pm me please. Also ....do any of you have any photos of Mecatecnos that you could post up. Ive trawelled the net and there are only a few . There must be some private photos taken of the bikes that need sharing. Please post them

After buying a 1989 jcm europe of ebay that was running and just sounded like it had a bit of piston slap i have striped it and found the piston smashed to bits which has wiped out the barrel lining and head .I have managed to find another barrel and head second hand but can not find a piston anywhere !! i am now thinking it might be easyer to find elvis ! Anyone any idears ??????

Rescued a dumped JCM in poor condition and I thought I'd have a go at restoring it as in the main it's all there. Can't seem to find a lot of info on it though and my first problem is where will I get a flywheel puller for it? Thought my TY one would fit but it's a different thread. Some of you must of encountered thie before. I need to change the rear wheel bearings of a Mecatecno Dragonfly im restoring. The trouble is that the long spacer inside the wheel that the wheel spinde slides through is fixed into both wheel bearings.It wont budge at all. Id normally tap the bearings out with a long screw driver from the opposite side of the wheel. With this wheel the screwdriver just slides through and there are no ledges to get a purchase on. Any ideas. I dont want to have to resort to picking the bearing apart . LOL

I am thinking of building something a bit different, How far can you go? is the only criteria air cooled motor or is like the twinshock can of worms?? I am thinking of modern frame with c90 honda power (or lack of it) may try a little 80 gas gas or beta,

I've just rebuilt my 87' garelli engine and am running it in, different people have told me different things heres what i've been told so far!! 1 tank of fuel, 3 tanks of fuel, 1 Hour riding, 10 Hours riding, Well i've done about 3.5 hours so far and only got tommorow to go before the trial on sunday!! Any more running in suggetions???

This very unique home made trials bike has recently surfaced at a local trial in Connel Washington. It was built by Frank Theim of Idaho and uses a KX 80 bottom end mated to a very customized Hodaka cylinder and head. Apparently Frank made his own frame and almost everything else!

I've got an 87' garelli 323, but when i search the net i'm struggling to find much info on the garelli trials bikes??? Anyone know much about them or got any links??

hi all i have a yam ty 250 mono 84 and a 77/78 twinshock yam ty 250 new to trialing and trying to learn it all what would be the best fuel mix at the moment i am running at 40:1 all info would be greatfully apreaciated cheers mick
