Hi, my bike is a 2015 T2 300cc Evo, it runs the 12v halogen light on the front .....i would like to change this to an LED lamp ...my question is i see on the wiring diagram that there is a regulator in the wiring system is this just a voltage regulator rather than a regulator / rectifier as the voltage to the bulb is AC ...not ....DC so is my issue either the regulator is just controlling rough AC power from the stator and i need to fit a rectifier to convert to DC or is my regulator faulty any ideas please Neil

Strange that there is not one peep about the 2020 Beta Factory models yet...☹️ Anybody heard anything about them yet ?

This may be a daft question, my mate has a beta evo 2010 olle shock but which way up should it be mounted with the adjuster screws at the top and the preload screw at the bottom or the other way up ? Not familiar with these shocks at all but when you look to buy a replacement they're pictured that way up.

Morning all after some advice please. I currently have a 2008 rev3 250 running the keihin carb. I had this stripped down for cleaning yesterday and took note of the jets. The pilot was 45 and main 110. Are these correct? What are the standard settings. the bike has always ran very sluggish with not much punch so wondered if this may be the cause. thanks Mike.

Hi All, I'm new to the board and just moved to Colorado from California. My 300 evo was set up well for 0 to about 2k ft of altitude in CA but I don't have a good baseline to start with for 7000 feet here in Colorado. Can anyone share their baseline settings so I have something to start with. I'm riding a 2017 Beta evo 2T factory. Thanks.

No wonder the job is termed “bleeding” because it must be cause of more expletives relating to blood than any other. I knew it was going to be difficult because I’d already read all the other posts here. I really tried to avoid breaking into the hydraulics but in the end I had to remove and split the calliper to solve the sticking pistons. I tried reverse bleeding: no result. I tried pumping like you would with a car: no result. I went back to reverse bleeding, did lots of tapping on the calliper to dislodge any bubbles, and got the brake nice and low so any bubbles should rise easily. Finally I tried cracking open the banjo on the master cylinder while giving it a p…

Hi I currently own a Beta Techno 270 Lampkin replica. Unfortunately the cylinder is damaged beyond repair. I'm looking at buying a techno 250 cylinder from a similar aged bike. Does anyone know if this would fit to the 270 bottom end with a new piston etc Thanks for reading

Hi guys can anyone tell me or link me to rear wheel bearing for my evo 300 4t 2014. Or a part number of the bearing...n is the front one different or same size... Is their only one bearing on each side if the wheel or is there inner n outer bearings. ? Also is it only the 4t evo bearing that will do it example, will the 250 do the 300. N is 2t the same as 4t, n does it need to be exactly for the 2014..would other years still be the same.. Thanks guys.

Currently got my 2008 Rev3 engine stripped down to replace the main bearings and after a couple of bits of advice please I have managed to separate the cases but can't seem to get the crank out of the left hand case, are there any tricks? I have tried warming everything in an oven for 15 mins and then hitting the crank with a rubber mallet with no luck. Secondly, I used to trailer the bike in winter and I suspect road salt has found it's way under whatever the finish is on the crankcases. Has anyone successfully repainted the cases? Researching on here I've read that the cases might be magnesium and therefore difficult to paint..... Any advice very welcome …

Hi folks, hoping you can shed some light. My 2011 Beta 200 handlebar levers have a lot of up n down play in them. I removed for inspection and discovered there are no plastic bushes fitted to the pivot holes. Ordered a set of bushes to fit ‘grimeca’ units and they fit the pins but not the levers ( lever holes too small) so I thought the aftermarket levers fitted were wrong. Ordered a set of ‘grimeca’ fit ‘Apico’ levers...... and the pivot holes on the new levers are still too small? I don’t know which to order? Anyone advise? cheers Chris

  13. As it says. I’d like to strip and rebuild my forks and fit new SKF seals. Rather than strip everything and then order once measured can someone let me know the dimensions of the parts? I will be ordering from a supplier who doesn’t do bike model specifically but can match up dimensions no problem. thanks in advance.

Are all Evo seats the same? Mines a 2012, no more stock available apparently. Mine cracked and held on with various cable ties but I’d like to tidy it up. will later years fit? I’d then benefit from the air filter access hole on the later models?

Hi there just wondered if anyone could tell me why the engine has over heated on my Rev 3 ? It’s blown all the coolant out of the rad cap. After testing I can see that the fan is not coming on so that will be the first clue? I have tested the fan with a car battery and the fan does work when test, so any ideas what it could be? Any help would be appreciated thanks. Regards Phillip

Hi folks. Sorry if this has been asked numerous times. I have a 2005 rear wheel for a Rev3 that I would like to use in a Beta Evo 2017. I believe that to do this I need to make up some spacers? Does anyone know what size spacers and/or any other info is much appreciated

Just changing my leaking Beta fuel tap(again) When I insert the tap and filter into the tank , the filter tube seems far to long to be accommodated. It is like it hits the top of the tank and needs to bend. Shoving and twisting gets it in. But it doesn't feel right. I know about the left hand ,right hand threads on the tap body. (No innuendo meant)
