I’ve got a 2019, 300 and over the past few weekends of riding have been noticing a strange noise coming from the bike. At first it was barely noticeable but it’s gradually got worse, I’ve done a complete bolt check and everything is tight and it doesn't seem to be internal within the engine. As the sound has got worse the bike has started to vibrate quite badly especially when revved (frustratingly it’s not clear where it’s coming from), I’ve had a look at a few other forums and I’m wondering if it could be the baffle inside the exhaust. Any help of experience much appreciated.

Hi. I bought a replacement swing arm on eBay but it doesn't fit my brake caliper. What year of bike does this swing arm fit? I want to sell it on, on eBay but I want to describe it accurately. My original is at the back. The nearest is the replacement I will be selling. Thanks for any help

Hi my sons 80 has been stood for a year and the plates have stuck. I've freed them but they've gone sticky and keep sticking back together so need a clean. Can anyone tell me how to get this bolt out so I can remove the clutch plates. The bolt is just turning. Thanks

My grandson and I am taking the clutch down on his Beta 80 and got as far as removing the plate and springs, needless to say the clutch is sticking solid We've read the sticky and it sounds exactly like Brit bikes of the 60's and 70's Simple question, is the central retaining bolt left or right hand thread? I don't want to strip the thread/snap bolt I've been after a new fuel filler cap, it seems parts for this year are hard to find, any reason?

Possibly about to push the button on an evo 250, any problems with the LH kickstart? I have a knee replacement on the left. Back in my MX days I had a Maico 500 which was a pig to start had to be off the bike LH side and use my right leg to start.

Hi all been reading about the changes done to the 07 08 rev 3 , and I was wondering if the weight that was added to the primary fly wheel could be removed for a snappy throttle response as I had a 05 rev 3 250 and liked how it was on dilivery and when I fitted the weight to that I did not like how it changed the engine character so I'm wondering if the same will be with the 08 . What color spark plug are people getting on their Beta 4t? I have a 2016 300 with standard muffler. With 115 main, 20 pilot, mid needed (white plastic space below) and idle mixture 1 turn out, plug is powdery looking black. Riding at sea level at 60 to 90 degrees F, it runs OK but it seems the plug is way too dark yet jetting is lean compared to what I see others are running.

The previous owner of my techno has stripped the Allen bolt on the sump plug for the gearbox... Does anyone know the thread size? I don't fancy taking it out without a new one to put back in and Nobody in Germany stocks specific beta oil plugs... Thanks for your help!

Does anyone know the fork oil volume or height for a 2001 Rev 3? Is it the same as a 2008? Is there a place to get a 2001 operator manual?

Are there any new learnings to improve the evo rear brake? I had a 14 Factory with weak rear brake and tried everything, all kinds of pads, new disc, replace master cylinder and caliper with latest (2017 or 18?) Still it remained much the same. It did not feel spongy, just weak. If you stomp on it, it will stop but it is not easy to finesse in technical situations. Now I have a 2016 evo that is the same. Others have had a similar experience. My rev3 rear brake was vastly superior. I have ridden 2019 and maybe 2018 models that have quite nice rear brake feel but when I look at all of the hardware, it looks the same. ?????

can anyone help please, i cannot get the brake fluid to bleed through the from the master cylinder to the caliper , i have put a brand new seal kit in and everything is clean and tight , ive bled many hydraulic brakes in my time so not a novice ....but i cant fathom out what is wrong here, other than a possible score in the master cylinder ( which looks fine) is there a special technique that i need to know, the banjo fitting id higher than the fluid level so i cant see how gravity can help cheers Neil

I've just done a full rebuild and about 8 hours riding. I'm pretty sure it's been making the sound since the rebuild. When the clutch lever is pulled the engine sounds normal. As I release and the bike starts to pull I hear a whirring. It sounds a bit like an electric motor. Which increases in pitch according to the revs. I'm using putoline gear oil. Or could it be the clutch release bearing? Oil type? Thanks for any advice

Bete Evo 300 stock bike year 2017 I read a lot on trialscentral and dont know wbat is the best choice for me. I have an 09 Beta 250. As most know, the petrol tank is built into the frame. My bike has a slow leak. My bike had been leaking petrol from a weld about 2 or 3 cm above the petcock area. I estimate it will leak about a drip every 2-3 minutes. It leaks just slower than the evaporation rate because I usually don't see a puddle but it can be seen on the engine. If it is cold in the garage and the evaporation rate is slower, after a day I will find a small 3cm stain on the concrete. My garage stinks off fuel. J&B weld compound worked for a couple of months. Stripping the bike down to get it welded is inconvenient at the moment. Does anyone else have any …

hello together, somehow i lost my old accounts data, so i had to make a new one (time goes by haha) i´ve got a slight Problem with bleeding the Clutch of my 300 2010 evo factory. i just don´t get it bleeded. whenever i want to press the fluid out Nothing arrives at the Bottom (all screws/stops are "lose"). even if i try to pump new fluid through from the Bottom to the top with a pump i don´t have a Transit.. so the usual procedure as used on Brakes can´t be applied. are there any tricks to get it going? thanks a lot. Hi, I recently purchased a 98 techno with a few broken spokes on the rear wheel... No problem I thought as spokes are not normally an expensive fix... It turns out that for the Akront 18" 2.15 fitted to the techno you're looking at around £7 per spoke plus (for me living in Germany) £14 postage as trials and tribulations seem to be the only people who stock them. So with 10 broken spokes £90 is starting to seem a bit steep... Especially since you can pick up a used rev3 wheel for half that... I know the 99 techno had the same rear as the rev3 but will it fit a 98? Is it worth converting or is there a less expensive fix? Your help is much appreciated!

Do aftermarket reeds have a noticeable effect around idle rpm? Smoothness and stall resistance. Which are best in this area? Boyesen Power or Carbon Tech? I'd expect the two piece Power reeds to be best for this but don't have experience of either. I've recently removed a flywheel weight, and find it much better in many ways but less smooth near idle and easier to stall. Not a big issue but if a reed change helps then it seems worth it.
