  2. hello together, i´ve got a slight problem with my winter project, a txt 250 2003 (so already the newer engine). i´ve assembled everything and once i push the kickstarter all the way it locks when it should return back in it´s neutral position. when i take out the clutch basket and push the kickstarter it works just fine. in the video you can see how the two gears get stuck with eachother. i already disassambled the the kickstarting mechanism and checked everything and it looks just fine. does anyone know what could cause this problem? thanks a lot! Daniel

I'm trying to figure out who even makes these forks so I can get a manual and parts list. They are 38mm. The bike is a 2008 txtpro, but who knows where the forks are from. Who's logo is that? I googled a few makers and can't find it.

  5. My woodruff key sheared a couple weeks back and I put a fresh one in a couple days ago, Tried to start it and it wasn’t having any of it, checked fuel supply and spark and they were both fine... cleaned the carb just in case. It very occasionally backfires when kicking it over. I can’t think what it is. I’m not sure what I’m looking for when it comes to the stator (good or bad) but I presume it’s okay as I have nice strong blue spark. I’ve got some pics so you can tell me if there’s anything wrong, cheers

Is anyone able to tell me the thread size and switching temps on a 2013 onwards fan switch? Also, is it normally open or normally closed> I'm fairly certain they are interchangable with 2011onwards Sherco switched but need to confirm. Thanks Ray

Hi im trying to reduce compression on my 2020 txt 280 and look like it's a 1 piece head so no insert. I've decided to do with a head spacer but can't find them. Can someone recommend where they are available. Thanks!

  12. recently brought a gas gas txt 2017, i found when i bought it that the plastic tank had somehow buckled inwards my guess being due to being left empty and closed for an extended amount of time. you can see here the picture of what i am dealing with. as a new tank would cost me up to 90£ i was wondering if anyone new of any ideas of how to pop this tank back out to its original shape.

  13. Are the aftermarket top end kits on ebay any good? Dumb question? Wish BBR made a kit. What all should i replace when re-doing the too end? any good videos to share on rebuild? How to check if reeds are good etc…. This bike has been extremely reliable for many years! Even has a plate. Appreciate any advice and parts sources. What jetting is preferred and needle? I ride in WA state above sea level 500-2000’. not finding any help on gasgas riders club. Any other groups for gasgas ? i just did my sons CRF w/ a big bore kit (4 stroke). ✌🏼

Is this blue adjuster compression or rebound, it has no effect on rebound at all and the rebound on my bike is incredibly slow, much more than my enduro bike

Hey guys n gals looking for some advice on best way to tighten main swing arm spindle as it's just spinning , currently rebuilding full rear end just in process of reassembling. ..fitted all balls axel kit and bushings, I've got the rear spindle in and got the bolt in the other side easy enough. Started tightening the bolt and it's pulled the spindle in along with the new plastic bush that on outside of the frame and all is flush, I've been told to torque the spindle up before tightening the motor pinch bolts, issues is that it's all spinning now . Am I okay to nip the pinch bolts up if not how are you guys doing this? Sorry if it's a bit of a daft question any he…

Another newbie question. I've never changed steering head bearings before. Any tips / procedure for doing these? I've got the new bearings, just want to know if I need any specific tools / things to look out for before I start stripping the front end. Bike is a 2020 GP 300 if that makes any difference. Cheers

Hi, A couple of newbie questions: What code wheel bearings are needed for a 2020 GP model? Having never changed wheel bearings myself before; do you need specialist tools/press to fit them? Or do you just tap them in with a soft hammer? TIA
