Hey guys! First post here.. The boys txt pro 125 was spitting coolant a bit today! Fan wasn't running, so I gave the fan a flick and off she goes! Ran as it should. We did a few stops/starts to see if the fan would initiate on its own, and it did about 50% of the time and the other 50% a small flick got the fan running right away. I put 12v to the fan, and it wouldn't start on its own every time.. But a flick gets er goin every time. Seems the thermostat works, and when you get the fan going it spins nice and quick. The fan does have a little noise to it when trying to start though. Am I correct in thinking the fan is packing it in? Thanks!

I'm in bother, I bought a txt pro280 a few weeks back its a 06 model, i was riding it the other day and it cut out as though it was out of fuel but upon further inspectioin there was no spark, it's not the plug or any wiring checked everything, I suspect it might be cdi unit/coil unit. has anybody had this problem or similar

has any-one had any problems with the gearbox on the wee gasser. My wee fella dropped the bike at a trial and the chain came off and wrapped around front sprocket which in turn took a tooth of one the the gears. Anyway engine out split and checked the only obvious damage was said gear so replaced it and rebuild .....its now making a really bad noise . The bike before it was dropped was and had always been making a sqealling noise when running around this has now gone but has now been replaced with a noisey gearbox which is not going to be ridden its that bad. any ideas ???????????????

Quickly, our family has 2 04's, and one 06 300's. the 04's, each I have modified the springs a bit to give us more "pre load" since I am quite bit heavier than Adam Raga, Now then is everything the same in the 06? I think there was some subtle changes... 1st of all, can I get the stiffer springs for it, or even better take the ones out of the 04? they seem different, and in the (usa versions of the bike are sold with a maintenence video DVD) and it mentions that they not only changed the forks to Aluminum, they also shortened the amount of travel or just the lenght of the tubes that go inside the forks, a wee bit (FWIW, Yes, it has been week or two since I saw th…

Just found a nice, barely used 2017 TXT 125 for my wife. She's never been on a trials bike, and has limited experience offroad on her Yamaha XT250 - but after watching an event last week she was very taken with it and wants to give it a go. It would likely be temporary, but she really wants to start out having a seat to fall back on. While I know there are generics available I could probably get to fit, somebody mentioned the Contact seat from the same year likely fits. Can anyone here confirm that and/or suggest a good option?

Hi, did my first trial yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed. One thing I did notice was that my suspension was bottoming out quite a lot, now I'm about 15 stone so wondering if I should go for harder springs? I have contacted splatshop who say fork springs are not available anymore. Any thoughts on a way round this? Could I sort it with a bit of preload, thicker oil etc? Unless of course anyone has or knows where I could get a stiffer spring from? Any advice gladly received.
