Hi I have a gas gas ec 125 from 2014 and have recently come to find it has a burnt out magneto and needs a new cdi. I have found the magneto quite easily although can’t seem to find a cdi in stock for that year. Does anyone know if the 2015 cdi is different? Looking to buy in Spain or Uk.

  7. Hello, new to Trials Central but seem the right place to be! I just purchased a 2012 TXT Randonee 125, I will be mostly green laning on it so want to swap the sprockets over. Does anyone know what size sprockets GasGas supplied with their long range kits on these? Thanks

  8. As title says, frame number suggests it's build is march 04. The master cylinder tops have been changed for aftermarket ones so can't go by the colour of the top. I had the Idea to take the top off and dab a cotton bud into fluid and rub it onto a painted surface (not on the bike 😉) and it took the paint off, so assuming I have DOT4 and not mineral oil unless that strips paint as well 🤔 Want to top up master cylinder and fit a repair kit. Cheers Tim

Boujour à tous. Sur ma 250 txt de 2004 j'ai vu qu'il n'y avait pas de ressorts mais un "plateau" ressort . Je trouve qu'il est un peu dur. Existe t'il un plateau moins coriace ?. Merci.

Hi, new here and need some advice. I've noticed that the rubber hose pipe going from the master cylinder to the reservoir on my bike runs under the suspension linkage and between the dogs. It's getting squashed and is also in a dodgy exposed place between the suspension and the ground. I think at some point the previous owner has routed it incorrectly, but I can't find any images online to show me how it should look. Can anyone help with the correct route this pipe should take? Cheers, JC

Hi folks, I’m just rebuilding the above engine. I’m after a set of 6206 main bearings for her. Im trying to establish if they are C3 or standard bearings that are required. I’d have thought C3 , but just making sure as it’s for a friend. Thanks everyone.

Good evening. Thank you for accepting me. I've been practicing trials riding since I was 8 years old, always with Bultaco. My last bike was a Sherpa 350. Now, at 56 years old (oops!), I'm getting back in the saddle. I bought a Gas Gas TXT300R, disassembled. I found that the kickstart pinion is bad, as is the drive pinion. I've already ordered the replacement parts. I'll finish putting it together this week. Otherwise, it's pretty complete. I have a question about the VIN. According to the paperwork, it's a 2008 model, but it looks more like a 2011 to me. Could you help me? Thank you very much. I've attached a photo and the VIN. Thanks. VIN: VTRTG3003M0116194

  14. Hi I have a question for the guru's out there. I have a 2010 TXT Pro 250. Lest year I noticed that there was fuel in the gearbox oil when I changed it. That precipitated a complete engine rebuild. Glad I did it because it was pretty worn. I had only had the bike a few months and bought it to get into trials (a decision I dont regret for one minute ) I bought literally every seal and bearing, clutch, top end, crank was rebuilt as well. When it came to fitting the main bearings I took them out of the box (The new style XiU-rdiOnes) they were so tight that it was impossible to rotate them. IN other words, you could not rotate the inner of the bearing a…

  16. '98 TX270 purchase last week. I removed the clutch cover to add oil and found the fiber squeezing out the side of the pressure plate. Remove the pressure plate and found the fiber in four pieces. Any aftermarket brands recommended for this model? I'll begin my Google search after posting. Thank you all in advance!

Does anyone have a link to the service manual for the 2003 rookie 80? Just got one for my son and we want to give it a full service. It would be good to go at it with a bit of info rather than just guessing. Cheers

I am possibly going to look at a little GasGas txt 2000 50cc twist and go for for my lad. Apparently it did run but know the guy can’t get it started after it’s been sat for a while. What sort of psi should I be looking at on a compression test? Obvs it will be cold too, also do you test with throttle wide open the same as we do on 4 stokes?
