Hi I'm New to trials and have bought a 2014 4rt I love the bike but have one little problem! Is there an upgrade available for the rear brake system as I have had nothing but problems with the standard rear setup 1st the master cylinder gave up after 2 months fixed that and then the rear caliper seals started leaking re fitted that then the blead nipple started leaking so tightened it and it snapped off (with very little pressure) Any help or advice would be good as I'm New to trials so am not 100% with mods and parts that can be retro fitted / upgraded Thanks Mike

Been using nano trans for the last few years in my gasgas with great results, minimal drag and clean snappy clutch engagement. Changing to a 2015 repsol and wanted to know if anyone uses nano in there gear box over the recommended?

Has anybody fit the orange, black and white S3 camo rim stickers to their Repsol? If so, would you be willing to share a photo or two? I'm not a hunter or a member of the military. In fact, I generally don't fancy camo. But, these might look sharp since they have all three main Repsol colors. Thanks.

Hi, I have recently replaced the idler gear on my 200 Cota, and I am struggling to fathom the correct way to tension the assembly once refitted. Does anybody have any experience of reassembling correctly? New pawl gear has also been fitted, along with the correct shims, and new return and shaft spring. The bit causing me the main trouble is securing the shaft in the correct position and tension prior to refitting the side case, the shaft needs to be in a specific position for the slot in the shaft to mate up in the right position for the kick start securing bolt and not smash the casing. Any help / pictures appreciated. Cheers, Mark

I've been researching 4RT replacement sticker sets on the web to add protection and a bit of bling to my Monty. There seem to be quite a few after-market decal sets around. From the photos I see on ebay they look indistinguishable from originals. ?I suspect that the airbox stickers like the Repsol type will be worn through in a weekend as that's where my left boot grips. But I'd like to find a more longer lasting set for the frame. Can anyone comment if they last? How good do they look in the flesh?

Hi, Could anybody shed any light on why the kickstart is fouling with the rear brake lever. It is the original brake lever and does not appear bent or anything. The kickstart is a new item from Inmotion that is supposed to be the correct one for the 349.

Last year i was extremely lucky and got to meet Jordi Permanyer. He is the son of Montesa founder Pere Permanyer. He was also rider , manager of a Montesa gear factory , on the Montesa directional committee , helped with the Honda negotiations and latterly became production manager of Honda motorcycles in Spain. He explains many things whilst showing us around the huge family motorcycle collection including the factory bikes of Karlsson , Whaley and Colomer , discusses his fathers relationship with Bulto after the separation and shows me gift from Neil Armstrong + more. There are other taboo's that are not widely known but never the less backed up by sufficient in…

Apologies for another question relating to my newly acquired 247! It's a '71 model, with new Amal carb. I'm trying to determine whether the air box and filter fitted to the bike (see image), are standard, or whether they represent another Heath Robinson'esque bodge-up by the PO! The air box is manufactured from steel, with solid top and bottom sections, encasing perforated steel sides, within which there's a filter, comprising a 'waffled' paper-type element, wrapped in a fine steel mesh - nothing at all like the foam type filters I'm used to using. I'm unable to find anything similar online (Google search, etc), and wonder if this is something the PO has fa…
