I have to change the fork seal on my 03 Rev 250, the new one are arriving this week. I have looked all over the Net to find a tutorial with no success. I have done the job many times on older Yamaha, Kawasaki and other fork but not on these. I noticed that both leg are not the same. Any advice would be more than welcome.

I have a TY 1976 ( here in Canada sn 492 ) with a Mikuni carb. When I run with the throttle open at 1/8 to 1/4 open it run '' lean '' , I played with the needle raising it by lowering the clip notch by notch, but it does not cure the problem. It as a #35 pilot jet that I would like to change, but I can't find them. The VM Mikuni jets and needle are easy to find but not the TY model. Does anybody know where I can find them?

Not weird David, it was an idea used by many tool maker at the time to allow the head of the screw driver to slip more easily in the palm of the end when you put pressure on it. You grab the '' grooved '' body for grip and use the ball in in the palm.

The Yamaha guys are a sneaky bunch, I would not be surprise that they come out with a nice Yamaha made trial moto in the near future if the response to this one is good.

I ride TS but a friend saw this 315R and is thinking about buying it, so he ask me for advise ( that I could not give him on the bike itself ) but I told him I would check with you guys if there is a problem with parts. I would like him to buy it so he could ride with us but not if it's if it's more problem than pleasure.
