  1. I agree, but if someone wants to learn it, better learn the right technique from the first time... My elbows would have been much 'happier' if i found this video a couple of years earlier... Figure 8: when they start to be easier, try them on one foot!
  2. Yes, me too... Helicoiled them last year and that's better than original... I think the latest evo's have two bolts there now...
  3. If 15 dealers in spain or Italy don't answer, the little webshop in Belgium is the bad guy... Maybe he has had problems before, with what you 're asking him (I don't know...!) I never had problems with the service of zonetrial... I Feel sorry, it didn't work for you as you wanted...
  4. "MURMEL mode ON" Maybe, we should have some more FUN in trials en less RULES... Not everybody is trying to win, just doing a bit of sport or even amusement! Or shall we count the horns and lights on all these 'legal' bikes in the SSDT... "MURMEL mode OFF" PS: "Murmelen" is dialect flemish for 'silently talking to yourself'...
  5. Wich bike does he wants to blame, in case of poor results...? take that one! (Iwouldn't take the one that has stood for 8 years..)
  6. you will probably even sweat without a helmet, so ventilation will not help. Better to look for a removable liner, so you can wash it or even exchange it during the day (if you buy a second liner) I use a bandana under my helmet, dries faster in the sun
  7. Hello, A friend at my club thought about participating in the Pre-65 ballot last november, but as his Triumph had some parts wich were not original, he left the idea... But he and his wife are making a holiday of it to come over and visit the Pre 65 and some SSDT trials. I promised him that, if he went for the Pre65, I would join him for moral support and maybe a couple of beers in the evening... He is not participating but I DO like touring around in Scotland with my (road)motorcycle! That's why two friends and I will be in the neighborhood too... Why this short story? As we are able to visit the pre 65 on friday only, (we have to catch a boat on sat), we would like to have a good impression of the different non-stops. Will there be any information on the SSDT website (by then) concerning visitors, which non-stops are accessible by road and a small walk? Or will this all be indicated in Kinlochleven at the start? Any information will be appreciated...! Thanks, Chris
  8. Maybe that 's trouble for people who are so lucky to have some 'open space' to trial in, at our club one 'lap' is 300 meters.... I would give it a try if I had the chance

    Amazing Bou

As soon, he's back from hospital...
  10. I have had the rev3 4T, and now the evo... and very happy with them! I was warned for the '07 beta, as being a kind of prototype. And a '08 would be a better choice, although mine wasn't such a good starter! Some people love 4stroke, other never get used to it... Only one way to find out!

    Beta Rev Gear Oil

I guess nobody puts ATF in a 4stroke...
  12. Isn't this the kill switch? Can you start it and see what happens if you switch it? Is it a switch or a pushbutton? It's hard to tell what is what on a picture if you 're not familiar with the bike...
  13. This weekend I saw a guy doing things on his BSA, I will probably need another 2,5 years for (and I can't blame the bike...)
