    So today's progress and traumas ..... Chain tensioner sorted !!! The inside of the rear brake plate seems to be catching the inside of the hub ... Is the wheel the same as a 125 wheel ?? Crank seals here engine ready to go back together!! Front forks have no seals in & there appears to be no groove for a circlip ?? How do they stop in!!!! Thanks for any help as normal ??? As always The Wobbler

    About level with the sump guard and back to the start of the rear tyre seems to work for me !!!

    Just a quick update !!! The guy that supposedly rebuilt it was called Nev erfinished ajob !!!!!!! No cank seal in the balance weight side and nothing tightened up ..... So it's a spilt it and check from start to finish .... A couple of spacers and circlips missing too !!!' Miracle it started ...... Hopefully ready for the next twinshock round in June !!!!!'     Axul - Thanks, I'll give him a call - had it running but seems like its drawing air in - so going to split it and have a look ?? Cleaned carb etc so no where else to go Hopefully get it going for the next Twinshock Championship Round !!!! Cheers as always The Wobbler.

    Got it back together - but the chain tensioner is defiantly wrong - can any body post a picture of one - either fitted or off the bike ?? What chain size and sprockets do people use ?? How much and what weight fork oil would any one suggest - I'm 12 stone so should I put some spacers in to pre load the springs ??? Thanks as always - The Wobbler !!!

    Apico - do special pedals - for big hillclimbs and road sections - I've got some on order - I've been practicing on an exercise bike !!!!! Sprocket seal and kickstart spring are holding the job up a bit !!!!

    I'm trying to sort a 50 cc FM 330 Twinshock at the minute I'm not sure of the following :: Which way around for the rear wheel spacers as there's a small one and a large one !! Next - the chain seems to catch on the Tensioner - Is it in the right place ?? Where does the Clutch Cable & Front Brake Cable run Pictures would be a great help !! Cheers as always The Wobbler

    Metisse, The more information the better I think we've got some "Probables" who are looking at going instead of doing the Manx Classic.... So as much information as possible would be great. I've had a look on the web site but found it a bit confusing regarding entries / Closing dates etc & where to stay !!! What is the nearest airport if some where to fly in ??     I agree with the comments but they are not always possible. meet at the house - see some photographic id and if possible take copies -create your own purchase invoice and give the seller a copy!!! If they won't do any of these give it a miss ......genuine sellers will understand why you are asking them to do so !!! Cheers as always the Wobbler

    Sidecar bracket for definate - my mate has a 300 twinshock sidecar with a similar set up !!! Best get a 240 frame and put your engine in !!! 340 Fantic - the dogs bol****s !!!!

    Ross - Metisse has just said the same so a drive it is with a different crew each way !!!! I'm off to Valdisere - not much snow though!!!     Metisse, Great Thanks. Ross - You could team up with some of us. I think the plan is for 3 to drive the van out with as many bikes in as possible (Possibly ferry to bilbao and drive up ??) with the rest flying to the nearest airport - Bordeaux ??? then a different 3 driving home !!! I've got confirmation on the land in newcastleton for a round of the twinshock championship next year - I might need some help advice with the sacu I'm away skiing for a week so will send you a message when I get back.
