Has any one ever thought of making there own four stroke modern machine? I mean like using a honda xl 125/185 and grafting it into a gasgas or something like that? i would love to see one done. I have seen alot of old twinshocks with this done but never a modern machine. A guy at our club made a Hontic ( fantic chassie and honda motor looked really trick) james

Have you had the bike running? (if you havent had it running it mite run fine with that flywheel on it , if you go changing the weight you mite muck it up and you would then need to re jet it). I would try the bike as it is first if you have built if from a box of bits James

They will have to ban every thing that is two stroke. Motorbikes, outboard motors, garden machinery, quads etc etc 2 strokes probably outnumber four strokes James

First thing to do is change the spark plug. I had a ty175 which ran fine then died so i checked it was still getting a spark which it was then tried again . It would fire up then just die. So i changed the plug and it ran a treat again. Sometimes these wierd things happen Let us know what the problem was once you have sorted it please m8 but give the spark plug a try. James

How long do you reckon it will be until two strokes get banned? Personaly i dont think they will ever be able to ban them there will always be one running somewhere. James

it wont do the engine any good taking it to the fastest it will go. If you want speed but able to go off road get something like the dr350 or beta alp. James

why do you need to get your gasgas wheel into a mont whats wrong with ya wheel which you got with the bike? James

your forks may be like some of the beta technos where one fork does the damping and the other springs. James
