  1. Try to make some pics to show the differences between TLR an RS Layout, the bikes have nearly the same length, but the RS is higher....
  2. got the bike in my garage now, changed handlebar, build a new flat seat an removed the ugly rear fender, looks better now..... I put the forks about 13mm down through the yokes for better handling, will test it on sunday trials practice, the engine is much more agressive than a TLR200 and misses the smooth feeling of the TLR engine...
  3. So the bike looks when it comes out of the factory.... [/url] The engine ist the same as on the RS200T and the seeley, I heard only 300 will be build by RSC, anyone here knows more ?
  4. Bought this RS200TS for little money, has anybody here experiences in making it better for trials use ? The footrests are modified, I will build a new sumpguard and handlebar must be changed. Anybody knows if a RS200 ( shedworks ) Tank will fit on the frame ?

    Fantic 301 To 300

You will get problems with the seat, try a 200, 240 or a GPR Tank from Classictrial.co.uk http://www.classictrial.co.uk/fantic300setup.html
  6. One cable on the frame ( earth ) and the other on blackwhite there must be a empty plug .....
  7. I take some Plastik film over the fuel plug an fixed it with an elastic strap, my Easy start is now on the right Frame side behind the kickstart, fixed with a cable tie, can make pics this afternoon.... Told with my dealer last Weekend about the easy start Problem, he says when the battery pack is mounted, the easy start can be removed !

    Ossa Frame Guards

Jitsie make some in plastic with carbon look.... http://www.trialcenter.de/index.php/de/Jitsie-Rahmenschutz-fuer-Ossa-280i-Explorer-Bj-11-13-im/c-OSSA%20SCHUTZTEILE/a-JI712-2732N%20OSSA?sidFD26A527A8C94C0FAD76E0E5F9AACFB4=e493047283709bf3fb55d40b39c1dead
  9. thanks, I will mount the capacitor before next Trials practise, this weekend is Classic trials seasons start and I will take my TL250 out of the garage....
  10. can you show me a pic of the new place of the Capacitor ? ( I want to keep the original headlight )
  11. ask Alex Ballesta, Ossa Export sales Manager, he will help you.... export@ossamotor.es
  12. my dealer : http://www.vollgas-offroad.de/ I wont't Change my electric, user lotus54 asked were to put the ESS-Capacitor when removing the rear subframe....

    New Fantic ?

The Fantic enduros are build in the GASGAS factory, They will have the capacity to build more, OSSA's will be build there after march, too But who will buy an OSSA or GAGSGAS TXT with Fantic decals ? There must be engineered a little more, own frame and design with engine and suspension taken from another bike, but is there the money and a market for that ?
  14. The engine will not fit without changes, but it is possible, I put fork, swingarm and wheels from a 80 into a 125 frame, much easier, even light and small for younger riders....
  15. Ok, I will take care of my battery, in normal trials practise the engine won't get so hot that I will have overheating problems and on road and trails use, the capacitor is installed ;-) My dealer, who is very engaged in OSSA, tolds that its no problem to trial without the capacitor, my Explorer is the third one which is used as trials bike and Explorer.... Where is the easy start system located on the 2014 trials bike ? It's normaly must be the same part as on the explorer, I don't think that OSSA will use different parts for the bikes..... Wether its a different part, it will be no problem to order it....
  16. The first edition ( 2012 / 13 ) has a battery pack behind the headlight and as a refitting by the dealers the easy start ( which is nothing else than a second battery pack ) in the case under the seat, so now I have only the small battery behind the headlight. I don't know how they made it on the 2014 model.... I mount today a layard kill swich for having more security when trying heavier things, won't kill the engine
  17. I have the easy start too, engine even starts on second kick without the box, conversion needs about an half hour, easy job... Made the first trials training today, runs good, easier to handle without the Explorer Kit, only on slippery wet or muddy terrain the rear pirelli tyre is not the best choice, I let the headlight and ignition switch on its place, only a little extra weight...
  18. The explorer is based on the trials bike and I made the conversion.... 4 screws for the sub frame, one in front of the tank and a hidden one under the seat, two cables, open the fuel line with snap closing and you can take away the Explorer kit. Trials plastics can be mounted on the normal fixing points, for better slow motion trials I prefeer changing the front sprocket from 11 to 10 teeth. A real dual purpose bike
  19. Future Trial also offers new montesa with Future Kits, Toptrial starts a complete new Team with OSSA including race truck, they will also sell Betas but no more Top Trial beta Team...
  20. I made good expirience with NJB experts, they are much better then the betors, but miles away from falcons or even rockshocks, bur the price it's a good choice. I had betors, they are bad and leaking, Falcons are very good but often leaking and for me it's to expensive to send them to repair every year... If you want to have very good shocks and don't have look at the price, test rockshocks ;-)
  21. Wilbers offers new shocks for mono TY , they can supply different spring rates http://www.wilbers.de http://www.ebay.de/sch/i.html?_odkw=wilbers+ty&_osacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.Xwilbers+ty+250&_nkw=wilbers+ty+250&_sacat=0
  22. I have 390mm NJB Experts on my TL250, Fork passed about 10mm down with "Wirth" progressive forks springs and it works good... Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  23. If you want pre 65 feeling with japanese quality, try TL250, I love the big iron... A TLR200 is much easier to ride, very smooth engine, not for high level rider who wants to be winners, but for having fun for normal people.... A Fantic200 is cheaper, better and has more power, but if you once tested the little fourstroke, you will know why so many people love it...
  24. The Woessner Piston is to low, you Need to kut down the cylinder about nearly 2mm, I send it back ( got it on Amazon... ;-) ) Here are more Details : http://www.trials.co...25ec6&start=100 I will buy a Piston from Nigel, that will work ;-) Got new informations, Woessner 8175 will be the one, Yamaha TRI-Z 250, Wiseco 515M06900
