  1. I bought size 43 Novogar and they are to tight having had size 43 in other makes so would be best to try a pair if possible with socks you usually wear! and perhaps go up one size.
  2. If you you use google chrome browser it gives you the option to translate! at the top of the page
  3. I've just just had my 05 TXT 250 Pro repaired took it to my welder decided to fabricate new bracket and cut the old one of as you couldn't weld on to a weld if you see what I mean, and the metal goes brittle after a re-weld. Its a fault with the design in my opinion always having to have it welded on the different stress points. I have 07 125 and the box is different to my 05 the middle box its all one piece. So either weld it yourself or someone that can weld alloy!
  4. I have a 07 TXT Pro 125 with 9 x 48 x 520 at the moment. I have been trying to get a 9 x 52 x 520 from Talon Eng which is on back order. Would I be better of going with the 420 conversion? Has anyone tried the 420 conversion from shirtyhttp://www.trialendurodirect.com/products.php?RENTHAL__420__CHAIN_CONVERSION__648&manufacturers=7 as I believe it would be 11 front and 58 rear? Would the 58 rear look too big! and cumbersome I guess I would also need a smaller chain block?
  5. Hi You could ask the same question here http://www.cubsite.com/cubforum/ you would have to register to post questions but its painless lots of Cub knowledge here though. Good luck! Mike
  6. I have just bought 07 TXT PRO 125 to replace my 05 TXT PRO 250 and I was thinking of getting some Boysen reeds for the 125. We bought some for my granddaughters 04 125 and they didn't make any difference, so would I be wasting money by trying to fit them to my 07 125? I love the 125 after the 250 as its not so tiring to ride after a trial and it feels smaller and lighter! I know its a different technique and you have to keep it buzzing, but it died on me a couple of times practicing at the weekend, coughed and stalled just like a small 4stroke. Has anyone had success with Boysen reeds in this instance?
  7. I have just bought a 2nd hand Dellorto that was from a Fantic 125, it wouldn't run properly the existing jets are 95 main 45 pilot had a job to read needle 22!. Has anyone running a Dellorto and could inform of their jetting success ?
  8. Hi Dave (When you fitted you mono TY forks, did you use the mono TY clamps or bored-out TY twinshock clamps?) I used ty175 clamps and got them bored out to accept the mono forks as that was recommended here in a previous post, so I think I will try 25mm to extend! Cheers Mike
  9. Hi I have my swinging arm off ready to extend and I was going to ask the same question! I did a search and couldn't find anything I was sure its been asked before. Anyway David I was going to extend mine by about an 1" but you reckon 50mm? As I've just put a 250 mono forks into my 175 frame which as you know has the leading edge forks. So 28mm or 50mm?
  10. Hey Gordon I fitted MZ 150 forks to my Cub on recommendation from Brian Trott Totnes, they work quite well, I bought a complete bike just for the forks when I was in the UK.
  11. Hey Pete If the Beta and GasGas are the same price I would try the Beta the build qaulity is a lot beta than the GG so you would have more time riding rather than repairing, whilst the GG's are fairly simple to repair its still hassle that you don't need. And I think the Beta would hold its resale value beta. Perhaps someone that has ridden both bike ie in the UK could give their opions as we don't have an abundance of new 2010 evo's here in NZ. Cheers Mike
  12. Thanks for the pics Gordon bike looks really good I was thinking of making one out of alloy to fit between the top and middle brace, as I have an alloy petrol tank which is fitted front and back not like yours with the bolt through it. I see you have an oil filter as well. And I need to move my foot pegs like yours. Did you get the geometry from your 4RT, as I was thinking of copying my GasGas TXT Pro set up!
  13. Hi All I was thinking of making a Tiger Cub Top Tube Oil Tank for my trials Cub I did contact Sammy Miller for a price to ship to New Zealand, but didn't get a reply so has anyone made one themselves or if some one could post a simple diagram of the layout of an oil tank which I could adapt to suit my Cub Cheers Mike
  14. Has anyone tried an alternative front wheel for TY250 mono? As I have a gold one which is rotten and beyond repair I tried to get some new Z spokes but they no longer make them, has anyone tried a DT wheel etc to pick up the lug on the fork bottom.
  15. I have converted 2 Suzuki kickstarts using STU's instructions through previous post which I searched once you've converted your kickstart spindle you can use what ever is available as the Suzuki ones are cheaper from a breaker as long as the splined hole is not to big as you have to drill it out to be able to weld the half moon shape in the right position. The 1st one I did missed the foot peg whilst kicking over which is the one I'm useing at the moment and the 2nd one as a spare. http://www.trialscentral.com/forums/index....l=cub+kickstart
  16. What gearbox oil should I be using on my grandson's 2007 Rev 80 as it needs changing, downloaded PDF owners manual it says 300ml of 20W30 so what are you guys using?
  17. I have just had my Tiger cub engine rebuilt and its popping back when I close the trottle, I have a keihen carburetor is it just a question off jetting main jet as tick over etc seems to be OK?
  18. (One of these is for sale in my area.) Is that the one on trademe if so I would buy it as its a good price if it wasn't in the South Island I would buy it myself, bullet proof motor etc!
  19. Thanks or your replies guys we tried a (new) 07 125cc at the weekend, obviously it more responsive but it had the same basic characteristics as our 125 flat at low revs but flies when revved, so decided if it aint broke don't fix it!
  20. I tried my carb of my 05 TXT pro 250 it didn't make much difference! Would a simple compression test do, to see if the engine needs attention? Cheers Mike
  21. My granddaughter has a 2004 TXT pro 125 which is flat as fart is there a solution ie jetting or Boyesen reeds to enable her to get more bottom end power, we have had the bike about 6 months and she has just started so its ideal to learn on! but would be nice to have a bit more instant power to get the front wheel up, I realise it might be a bit tired after 4 years.
  22. I have an 05 TXT Pro which suffers from rusty spokes front and rear, is there an easy way to clean these up as its spoils the appearance. Don't want to strip the wheels to replace nipples.
  23. Thanks Kev I know what you mean I had a tee bar mid 80's but lost it over the years just wanted to know the hex size? Cheers Mike
  24. Hi All I need to make a tee bar for a Yamaha TY 250 mono to strip the forks does anyone know the size of the hexagonal IE to suit a for instance (19mm) socket not sure of size just guessing? Cheers Mike
