    Lance Armstrong?

Quote: Mich Lin Well, the truth will set you free! ...If we are talking about the druggie Lance Armstrong then I can smugly, no...super-smugly, state that I think this bloke is a f****** t***, b******,c***-faced discharge on the face of mankind. He's got to go to jail, directly to jail, do not pass Go... Sorry, I just had to let that out
  2. As the above posters have highlighted; This is great ammunition for the tree-hugger brigade.Man, that looks bad; no skills, no consideration, no helmets, no screens, in evidence When most of the law-makers and authorities think of off-road sport they're gonna visualise this carnage?
  3. So it would seem....cheers fellas
  4. I've just followed a link on this twinshock forum from Woody ( thank you Sir) and ended up looking at a photo of a lean, mean looking Armstrong 320, I know nothing... ....about this type of bike, where did they come from, where did they go, how come we're not all riding the 21st Century version? Answers about Armstrongs please post here: Answers about my ignorance please post on the back of a £10 note to my home address Wayne
  5. I guess the cameraman didn't want to get too close up in case he got clarty?
  6. I've not seen this one before, apologies if you have already:
  7. I keep telling my missus that it's just the camera that makes things look smaller and less significant than they are in real life . I noticed on Shercoben's previous videos that the sound of those bikes is spot on. Thanks for posting them

    Whoops!

I'm loving the ambition Bike sounds mint.
  9. Hero I hope he realises that you saved him a fortune?
  10. Ditto, I had a '98, the fuel tap is awkward to reach but like the two posts above, when I put it on a trailer with the fuel tap on, the bugger was flooded after a short journey.
  11. Cheers,I had to turn he sound off though .
  12. Erm, I'll try: The angle of that red meccano sub-frame, where the top of the rear shock attatches; it looks to be too steep for the rear shock to compress as it should, along the axis of the piston shaft?? without too much side load...if that makes sense?
  13. This is turning into 50 shades of gay

    Evo 2010 4 Stroke

That sounds like a rectifier problem to me, I'm not familiar with Beta electrics, is the rectifier and regulator a one piece module on these machines? A Beta officianado needs to take over this thread....
  15. OK, educate me, what's a Hodaka/ Hojaka and do those rear shocks function at all, they're working through a strange arc? Cheers, Wayne
  16. Thanks for the rapid replies fellas, it looks like I can rest easy now, all I have to do is stick a couple of fingers into me exhaust pipe to calm things down ?
  17. Looks like that kick-start had been welded and ground back to tidy the seam?
  18. All this work will serve you well when you buy your Pro
  19. Keep goin, a lesser man (me) would have quit by now
  20. Please tell us that you're taking the peepee You have got to show us some photos?
  21. ''....I've never had a trials bike...'' and you've got a broken back ? These things flip easier and quicker than a MX bike and then you're into a world of step-offs and bale-outs, not vertabrae friendly. It has to be a 125 then, 2-stroke or four it's your choice. IMHO
  22. .....Course it will...?? Tune in next week: This is like he end of a soap opera episode or a Daz commercial, cue Eastenders drum beat....'and on that bombshell' More please.
  23. Now can I remove my original post?
  24. Only yankin' yer chain Copey, which is not as entertaining as baiting Jocks
