  1. Seem to remember there's a good list of servicing guides on their web site, do a search with google.
  2. I used to have an RD350LC, the power band on that was fantastic and there was no power valves in the exhaust. They came in the YPVS version.
  3. None of the centre box's splitting caused any bike to retire though, unless I've been mislead?
  4. To the best of my knowledge there was no mechanical related failures with a Scorpa, I may have been mis-informed though. I know one faied to finish but I believe this was down to the rider? Is there any computer wiz-kids out there that can collect all the data and turn it into some sort of percentage results etc?
  5. Comong of the road on Thursday just before the lunch stop at this years SSDT was scary. I'm glad no one knew.... Apart from stuHRC who looked down on me from above. Front wheel took a massive bash, I rode the rest of the day with it and had to but a new one, not cheap!

True, there's no doubt Birks has a lot to offer Scorpa and their future.
  7. So its been down the road then? Do you need any panels? I've got a load of differant ones if you do.

The 250 four stroke has been in the pipeline for a while now, way before Nigel Birkett took over the rle as importer.
  9. r2w, you'll love the KTM, thats what I've got! I've done all the standard mods to it to so if you need any advice on junking the emission kit or moding the airbox etc then just ask!

Just because Crosser was asked to sell three times the bikes he had previously sold it doesn't mean that birks has had to sign up to the same deal.
  11. Thats one of Marky Boy's bike's isn't it? I guess thats him holding it?

Erm... Ok, that'll be a US plug then.....??
  13. Did the survey, sorry to say this but it had no relevence to our sport at all, IMHO.
  14. Yes twinnshock's right I think. It wasn't a wig either. r2w, check your pm's matey!

    Wiring ?

I seem to recall the manual is available on the Scorpa webpage. If its not then I'll email a copy. As for the wiring, I would leave it alone. You can remove the headlight and then tape up the plug, ty-wrap it to the brake and clutch hoses etc behind your number board. The rear loom can be pulled forward and then looped up just aboce the shock. Ty-wrap it to the subframe. I can give you a photo but you'll have to wait till tomorrow.
  16. Coming back to the fold then marky boy, good for you! Here's his web site anyway, translated using google.
  17. Has it got some kind of sexuality crisis then?
  18. Do you silicon before putting the tape on or apply a bead after?
  19. I don't think its air. The tape sits nicely right up to the point where I push the last bit under the lip. It then puffs up with the bubble that runs about 50% of the way round the rim. Its like the tape is too large and the bubble is caused by being squeezed in to the groove on the wheel. Here's a pic that gives some impression of whats going on.
  20. Topic of the month this one eh? Put a new rim tape on the rear, had no faith in the other one. I can't get it to sit flat against the wheel, its all tucked in the groove but the tape is bulging out as if there's air trapped underneath! Has this happened to any one else? It did the same on the last one and I've had two full attempts at re-fitting this tape too! Its begining to wind me up!
  21. Here's some more photo's of the bike.
  22. Its urban camo, I was supposed to be watching the cash for my wedding later this year but I raided the savings. Here's the helmet.
