The wee nut is not tightened up because there's a wee spring under the wee washer. It works like a wee one way valve as I stated before. When my fork cap created a mist at compression, it was because the washer that seals against a rubber, was corroded. After polishing the washer the mist was gone and everything was clear again

If the valve is ok, you shouldn't lose any oil i.m.o. I also had a mist of oil when the forks compressed but this was due to a bad sealing (one way) valve.

I've used a brass bearing sleeve in my Bultaco's brake plates. Is somewhat self lubricating and has very low friction.
  11. Sorry, I of course meant motorcycle sports like Moto GP, MX, MX GP etc... By the way, motorsport in Belgium means motorcycle sport, i should have thought of the fact, that in Great Britain it means all sports with an engine
  12. In what other motorsport is the playing field totally even? I can't think of one, and don't see the need for it. Why stop technical development? It can only be to our benefit i.m.o.
  13. Would you say the same about road racing? Was Valentino Rossi not a real champion unless he has ridden the Isle Of Man TT? I know I have to be careful asking such questions as a Belgian, but I wonder why many take the SSDT as the standard of everything in trials. Patriotism?
  14. Mags, there's beautiful girls all over the world Axulsuv, there's only one word for what you experienced: awesome
  15. What's so special about the muck in England, that he has to bring his bike from the other end of the world to ride in it?

  17. Bou would of course have a disadvantage, if only for the weight of the bike, but I think it still would be very interesting to watch. A small impression of Bou and Fujinami on a standard 4RT:

Silver is the proper colour. I used silver rim paint on my 159, looks great, haven't got a clue about the paint code and don't care to be frankly

If this occured after you cleaned the pads, you weren't thorough enough, use sand paper and brake cleaner as stated before. If the black stuff keeps coming off, the pads may be saturated with brake fluid. I would dump them and get some new ones, and in the future be more carefull with the brake fluid.
