  3. An engine performs at its best at a certain temperature which you might not reach when the fan runs constantly.
  4. Ow bugger! Sorry, the video you have selected is not available for viewing outside of Canada.

Halfway is what GasGas recommends and which causes no problems, so why do otherwise?
  6. Not in his area as he stated in another topic, if I'm not mistaken.
  7. Too lazy to tie a knot, man o man, what's next
  8. They're, among other things, explaining the advantages of trial for other motorcyclist and how relatively cheap the sport is. That you don't really need that much space to enjoy trials, and stuff like basic riding and position on the bike.
  9. Two road motorcyclist get a lesson from multiple Dutch champion Alex van den Broek. Great promotion for the sport.
  10. No, no need for imo

Nigel, I also don't always agree with Dadof2, but that was uncalled for. On the subject: My 2012 280 was more difficult to start when I went from a 1/80 fuel mixture to 1/50. Went back to 1/80 and it started back on 2nd kick when cold, 1st kick when hot.
  12. Welcome, from another fettler.

One small example of what shouldn't happen on a modern reliable bike, and one of the things that is different from a standard bike and I'm sure this isn't the only improvement the top teams make.: (A Belgian top rider uses a 7 plate enduro clutch in his Sherco for instance) See #6 http://www.trialscentral.com/forums/topic/53419-gas-gas-2012-txt-pro-removing-thermostat-help/

Manual: http://www.gasgasmotos.es/en/manuals.html GasGas recommends GRO Gear Extreme 75W, is the same type oil as Putoline Light Gear oil 75W, wich works just fine. I also had 10/42 on my 280 wich was perfect for me for riding low to mid level stuff. sirdabalot, some coolants come ready to use and don't need to be mixed with water, just follow the instructions on the container.
  15. +1 is very important!
  16. The IRCs inner diameter seems to be a bit larger than Michelins. I tried to mount a Michelin on my Bultaco rim and it wouldn't get on the bead seat, no matter how much pressure I applied. Bought a IRC and it popped up the bead seat with no problem. But now the IRC won't stay in it's place, it tends to rotate on the rim although I've used new tire locks.
  17. To those who think being popular is important or cool: Hitler was also very popular at one time in Germany. Think for yourself and don't follow the masses blindly. (Sorry if my English is a bit crooked)
  18. Another great Video by Sergio about an 11 year old kid and his Ossa: http://www.photobysergio.fr/hugo-dufrese-video.html

What would you guys think about a separate topic, Nigel Dabster versus Dadof2?
  21. Ahaa! Thanks, something like this one perhaps:
  22. Strange bike at 4:37 anyone know what this watercooled two cylinder two stroke is? Part 1 of 3

I wished they made silver coloured plastic mud guards, would look good i.m.o.

Whom said they were ? Sensitive subject it seems.
  25. guys replied to 1973tr6's topic in Bultaco
I'm planning to do the same, but leave the surface untreated, because I'm afraid a clear coat might turn brown from the heat. As long as you don't ride in salty conditions, aluminium protects itself with a nice patina i.m.o.
