  1. Does anyone know where we can see a full copy of results for the trial yesterday???
  2. Love to be sat round the tarres family dinner table this Xmas!!!!!
  3. Hi try the Gas Gas USA website that's packed full of info...there spanner man jim also has videos on YouTube. If its not ticking over try adjusting the air mixture screw on the carb. If that don't get it, strip clean and setup again.
  4. Personally I think there should be a statement from gguk (shirty) and a statement from the club (CoC). Not a statement from spectators watching, no matter what there level of involment is (mrs) but since he has made a statement would look like a personal attack rather then a statement about what happened in that section
  5. Main difference is the change in the frame shape and geometery. Also tail pipe is different style and re-designed airbox
  6. Yet another example of "the good old boys" who yes turn up week in week out, but, take the pi$$ with the rules knowing full well that there will be no punishment because who wants to turn people away. It does need someone to be banned for everyone else too sit up and take notice
  7. Hi has anyone seen a start list for this trial yet? Entries were too be balloted but haven't heard anything since. We're trying to organise travel and it's a bit hard cuz we don't know if we have a ride. Also the missus is nagging me to see if I'm around or not, cheers in advance
  8. Don't want to state the obvious....or do I? IT'S 2012 NOT 2011............old bikes not old results!!!!
  9. If your an aggressive rider get the 250....the 300 should be smooth in the bottom with a big top end....that you will never use, iv had both Ann's suggest getting the 250 and building the skill level. Then if it's under powered for you...which will be unusual...then upgrade or fit some parts to increase power...trick carbs etc. Ross Danby rode a 250 when he upgraded to an adult at British champ level and gradually built up to a 300....and he's better then most of us will ever dream off
  10. That would be great, thanks uv been a great help
  11. That's great buddy cheers....is that just the back wheel? Are the fronts two different lengths???
  12. Yeah I have but seen sets on a popular auction sight and there are loads of similar lengths, think I measured 175mm in the rear....was just after some confirmation
  13. Hi there can anyone.....or big John.....tell me what length spokes I require front the front and rear wheels on my 1980 Sherpa, cheers
  14. That's how it worked last time.....came back through dob park for fuel then off on another loop with dob sections at the end
  15. Always worrying when the bloke is wearing more skin tight Lycra then the woman!!!
  16. For 10 bonus points......name that thunderbird!!!!!
  17. Loving ragas boots on the x-trial....observers wouldn't miss marks if we all had them!!!!!
  18. Don't think there will be results as we only got through 9 of the 10 dovedale sections before we were told. Had to ride down the A44 in the snow to find our support van.....was hell on Tarmac!!! Deep in the woods we knew it was snowing but had no idea it was settling in the fields!!
  19. Most bash plate type stands have a section cut out to allow access to drain plug. I have one of each and use the swingarm stand when changing oil cuz it does give you more room. Hope that helps
  20. Think Gas Gas has always sold bikes direct to public. Since this is a custom build in house then it's right gguk sell it.....otherwise which dealer would you give it too??
