  1. I bet the villagers of My Lai would have wanted Calley executed just like the relatives of the victims of Lockerbie would have wanted the same to Megrahni and rightly so. The thing is today's terrorists are tomorrow's freedom fighters, the obvious example being Nelson Mandela. Like it or not governments and terrorists do deals together. If these deals involve release of prisoners, oil exploration rights, the halting of WMD's programme etc etc then some will argue its worth doing to save a further loss of life and others will argue its giving in to the terrorists.
  2. Should William Calley have been shot?
  3. Regardless of whether you agree with the decision I admire the Scots for having the nerve to stand up against American opinion, however if this is due to influence exerted by the British Government, and a certain Mandelson, then that admiration will quickly turn into dissappointment.
  4. No 250, my mate Chris Cargill from Dubai. Its his first trial for sometime so if anyone see's him out there give him some support. I think the last time he rode a bike in the Isle of Man it was in the TT. Go on Chris!!!!!
  5. First bit of Scottish Foreign Policy since the Jacobite Rebellion of 1745 and looks what happens.
  6. Best chance Sherco has of getting a podium.
  7. Its a good job that Huntley and Brady or not in a Scottish Prison.
  8. Its obvious that some form of deal has been done but unlikley we will ever find out. Its disappointing that he did not proceed with his second appeal as many people want to get to the bottom of who was responsible for this atrocity, as it certainly wasn't Megrahi acting alone. The reality is a somepoint Governments have to make deals with terrorists. If such deals prevent rogue states aquiring WMD's then is it not a bad thing?
  9. Looks a good bit of muck. Always good to see any club getting new land.
  10. I think the German Trials Central users have logged off.
  11. I don't think that pro trials riders have a particular different diet to anyone else. Probably eat pasta and fruit during the trial (and wine gums) to keep up there energy and that's about it.
  12. Gambling? You could become a slot jockey?
  13. I bet the kids love that. 'Oh no Dad not normandy again, why can't be go to Eurodisney?' You forgot Gibson in 'we were soldiers.' Great book, ****e film.
  14. He had the surgery carried out now, so he can be back when the WTC recommences in September. I'm not the biggest fan of Raga but hope he makes a full recovery, no one likes to see riders suffering from injuries.
  15. That's the bloke who died on the stage after drinking brandy. Dabster knows all about him he left the book in the hotel in Poland after a WTC. I picked it up and lent it out before getting the chance to read it. The bloke sounded like a right legend.
  16. While surfing the net I came across 2 bands. Viva Montesa from the US and The Montesa's from Chermany.
  17. Well done to Alexz and Jonathan Richardson for clinching their respective world championships with 2 rounds still remaining.
  18. Knighter For once the rumour was true Knighter is going to ride for kawasaki.
  19. Knighter Press Release Regardless of what factory ride he gets, Kawasaki is one rumour, the important thing is that he gets back riding the WEC and soon.
  20. KTM would seem must likely.
  21. Given he is riding a Beta enduro bike for the Beta Racing Team then isn't it a bit obvious that his contract does allow him to compete in these Extreme Enduro events? I don't think we need G2F to make a statement to confirm that. From the media releases it appears he is 'battered and bruised' but hopeful of riding the Italian WTC this weekend, which is good news.

    Ezberg 2009

Congratulations a win for Graham Jarvis in the Endurocross with Ben Hemmingway taking up the third step of the podium. Ezberg Endurocross Unfortunately I cannot find the English translation for the above page, so its posted for the benefit of TC's Austrian members.... Looking at the smile on Graham's face I think it is safe to say he won.

    Ezberg 2009

Will it be 3 out of 3 for Balusiak or will someone else pop up to take the title of winner of the world's hardest one day enduro. There is a bit of an all star line up including Britains Dougie Lampkin and Graham Jarvis and the Rally specialists Marc Coma and Cyril Depres.
  25. There is more happening in the world than what you see on TV or on DVD, I'm more interested in the people that ride around the world, unassisted and without the support of the media. Have a look at the link on my earlier posting, which is much more of interest than LWR, which I did enjoy although I thought LWD tedious and pretty dull. I whilst KTM dominance of the Dakar will end, I'm sure they will more than make up for it in the Rally World Championships and other high profile events. It will be interesting to see which factories commit themselves to the Dakar.
