Does anyone know of any good free software for transfering music on my Ipod back onto Itunes on my laptop?
Thanks

Looks like trials interest in the USA could go ballistic in the next few years following the arrival of Pat Smage in Europe.

Dropping Lampkin from the 2008 TdN would be one very bold statement as he will still be Britain's No 1 rider. As regards your statement of seeing a British winner indoors, outdoors and everywhere else from now, I think is slightly over enthusiastic. Its going to be a few years.
-
It is difficult to compare current form of the riders. Jarvis is only riding the British Championship whereas Lampkin, Dibs, Morris and Brown are all competing at World level, albeit Michael in the junior. For that reason I would not automatically include Jarvis. Michael will benefit hugely from the experience of competiting in the TdN if he is selected.
-
Why is it not a true World Championship if riders from every continent can currently compete?
Or do you mean the American version of World, as in the baseball World Series.

So Dynamite Bou has lost again to arch rival Adam Raga, this time in the Spanish Championship held on 24th June 2007. So has Raga proven in consecutive outdoor competitions that Bou can be beaten, which may prove an advantage before this coming weekends WTC Round in Italy or will Bou simply bounce back and show it was just a minor hiccup in his quest for his first outdoor WTC crown, to match his indoor one.

I've been to a few football matches and left not knowing the score, usually due to the amount of beer consumed beforehand. Obviously it is now against the law to attempt to enter a football ground under the influence of alcohol. Mind you if they enforced that law the stadiums would be 1/4 full.

I went to Andorra last year and it was excellent. Andorra itself was no big shakes but the sections and trial itself were first class. Was considering the trip myself.

A comment was made on another topic that people were losing interest in the WTC. Whilst I disagree with this statement I'm curious to know other people opinions. The proffessionalism of the sport and the TV coverage has increased dramatically in the last few years, probably brought about by the likes of Tarres and Dougie but what next?
From a British perspective, we all know Dougie best years are behind him but he is still an outstanding rider, up there with the leading pack. Dibs is looking stronger than ever, Browny is doing the business in the Junior followed by one Britains true hopefuls, Wiggy and there are numerous other young British riders, such as Danby, Sampson etc having a determined go. There is certainly a future for British trials at the top level.
Outside of the British ranks, Bou has made an amazing impact on this years championship raising the bar to a new height, Fujigas will always be a crowd favourite and you cannot discount Raga's and Cabestany enormous talents.
A weekend trip to Europe is more affordable than ever so there's no excuses.
-
I understand that Mr Mitani used to work for HRC.
-
It is a big shame that a Brit (Doug) is not leading the WTC but it is still amazing to still see him riding as well as the awesome Bou, Fuji, and the up and coming Dibs. Not forgetting the young talent of Browny, Wiggy and many more.
Less interest in the WTC. Hawkstone Park will be near sell out, look how many turned up in Guatemala, Spain had an expected good crowd even in poor weather. WTC rounds still command decent crowds.
Jump on a cheap flight and go and see for yourself.

I don't care what they do at world level, but it does have an effect on the club rider, as COTA say's, catchers needed at sections in a local club event, is this a positive way to grow club entries or does it deter riders from entering.
I think your getting this minder at Club level at little out of context. What I am referring to this the odd section where a mate or fellow rider is asked to catch your bike if things go a little pear shaped. Usually a big step. Its not about having a full time minder to ride around with you. Without your mate there you probably wouldn't have a the confidence to have a go. Even at my lowly level at trials I've asked a mate to do this on the odd occasion and I'm sure I'm not alone in this. The minder in WTC level also has to make the rider away of the time limit , now you couldn't expect the rider to keep looking at his watch could you?
-
If riders can hop, bop, bounce on one wheel or whatever let them do it. The time limit at WTC level means the riding can demonstrate all aforementioned skills needed to clean a section.
The minders, the factory trucks and the mechanics all add up to creating the fantastic atmosphere at World Rounds.
With all due respect if you want to watch good riders riding hard sections with no minders or mechanics, go watch a British National. I want to see something a bit special.
-
In answer, no it wasn't minders at the club trial it was other riders.
As regards competitors leaving the WTC so be it, if they aren't good enough to cut the mustard then they shouldn't be there! When I attend a WTC event I want to see the best riders in the world tackling the toughest of sections, even if that is only a select few.
Regarding minders carrying out gardening, standing in front of observers. If they can get away with it they will, its up to the observer to stamp their authority and penalise them.
Also I would say the numbers of spectators has increased.
-
I was at a club trial on Sunday and the expert riders needed someone at the top of a big step just in case. Some got up, others didn't but most riders I saw needed the reassurance of having the minder there just in case. There's no difference at WTC level. Take out minders and the severity of the sections will have to decrease greatly, to the detriment of the sport. One of the big attractions of the sport is seeing riders do this impossible, without a minder in place they may not even attempt it.
As regards riders fixing their own bikes, I go watch WTC to watch a riders ability on a trials bike not to see how good they are with a set of spanners.

My TdN team
Lampkin
Dabill
Morris
Brown
It will the biggest giant killing ever if they can beat the Spanish team but you never know.
-
The huge grin factor from riding the 4RT cannot be under estimated.
-
Unlike many people on this forum I've met Dabster and even though he supports West Ham he is a sound bloke, can be a bit controversial at times but that spices up the forums.
I don't think it is very big hiding behind a computer calling someone a tosser though!
-
I've heard about money laundering but this travel documentation washing is something new,
-
I've only just seen this posting and have only just enquired as to the whereabouts of a Mr Miller's passport.
-
Did you have a look at the other Seabrook advert on you tube. Not for children.
'Mamas getting all chillified'.
-
I'm sure there is plenty of other people who are bothered about the closure of Addingham, however I feel that an update on events wouldn't go amiss. Even if its just to reassure people that all is not forgotten.
-
It has gone very very quiet.
Has signing the petition and writing to the landowner been in vain?
-
You'd need to make sure it was another Geordie at the other end though or they'd never understand you
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Don't mention the Skunks they've just bought Middlesbrough's top scorer from last season..
-
Ship to shore would be no good for Kinell as he would be out of range.
A like the idea of ordering beer and kebabs while you riding though, I think that would catch on.
