  1. Eh! No new plastics with bold graphics? If it came with Sat Nav would you get one?
  2. As there are no major changes to the 2007 factory bikes frames I do not predict any major changes to the 2008 bikes. Why do you need to change the most technically advanced trials bike there is? By todays standards the 4RT is a relatively new bike compared to the other brands and is now a proven winner at all levels.
  3. Are they the ones Lewis Sport USA sell? Its a shame there not available in the UK.
  4. Some of the current WTC Team Names are superb. Not only do we have Repsol Montesa HRC, Future Trial, Top Trial Team But what about HRC Kanto Meiwa Top Dogs. Top Dogs S-156. Mind you RFME Lafarge, don't they make plasterboard?
  5. Be interesting to see if Montesa HRC proceed with it in the further rounds. I do not necessarily see it as an advantage and infact could even prove to be a dis-advantage. Just imagine a minder suddenly barking a command direct into your headset at a critical moment could be a distraction.
  6. Congratulations to Browny for winning again!!!! Wiggy for a third place and another podium finish and Ross for second. Laia Sanz has also had a very credible ride finishing 5th, which must be her best ride this season.
  7. Are you sure its not Karaoke?
  8. First Lap score for the WTC are out. Not too good for GB with Doug and Dibs down at 9th and 10th places. However the top four of Bou 9, Raga 9, Caby 10 and Fuji 12 are well in front. Fifth to tenth are only separated by six marks so there's still plenty to play for.
  9. I've managed to get a copy of the transcript from Fujigas's radio link. Viking North Utsire: Southeasterly 4 or 5, occasionally 6 in Viking, becoming variable 3 or 4. Slight or moderate, occasionally rough in west. Fog patches. moderate or good, occasionally very poor. Section 1. Southeast backing tyre half right northeast 0 or 1, becoming variable 2 or 3 occasionally 5. Head up and stand on it. Slight or moderate. Moderate or good, occasionally very poor. Forties Cromarty Forth: Southeasterly 4 or 5, occasionally 6 at first. Moderate. Fog patches, occasional rain. Moderate or good, occasionally very poor. Section 2. We're coming in low out of the rising sun. Southeast perfect at the backing northeast 2 or 3, occasionally 5 at first. Slight or moderate. Moderate or good, occasionally very poor. Taxi. We've got a fare from Motegi to Osaka. Dave are you anywhere near there?
  10. First lap scores are on the FIM website. See my previous link. Junior. Browny leading on 0 and Wiggy third on 9. Ross is in third in the Youth 125 class. Keep it up. No news on the WTC.
  11. Not as staggering as seeing a pic of you supping half pints in the YOU HAVE USED WORDS OR A PHRASE WHICH ARE NOT PERMITTED ON THIS WEBSITE. PLEASE DELETE YOUR POST/TOPIC. DO NOT TRY TO CIRCUMVENT THE FILTERS IN PLACE ON THIS WEBSITE Thats why I made sure I had two in my hands.
  12. For Bou and Raga to be that far in front of the chasing pack is quite simply staggering. Doug's has had a disasterous second lap, Hopefully he can get his head up, put today behind him and see if he can claw back some pride tomorrow. A seventh place is a good ride for Dibs although he is capable of achieving a sixth place.
  13. For the Junior and 125 class the results of the first lap was pretty much as it finishes. So another well done to Browny and Wiggy and well done to Ross. Just have to wait now to see whose come second and third in the full blown WTC.
  14. First lap scores. Junior. Browny and Wiggy first and second respectively. 125 Danby second. Still early days though. WTC Bou 1, Raga 4, Fuji 22, Doug 23, Fajardo 24, Caby 26, Dibs 33. Looks like a 2 horse race. FIM Results
  15. On the video of Dibs on section 3 it sounds like Martin Lampkin is shouting out a few instructions to the lad.
  16. Dabster, its is good to see Alexz is getting a good level of support from both Shirty and Gas Gas as he certainly deserves it.
  17. As far as I know, the names of Alexz Wigg and Shaun Morris on the truck are just that - only names. I could be wrong, but understand they are not allowed to use the Gas Gas truck or it's facilities so yes, it would appear Gas Gas are focusing solely on Raga. Seems like a massive expense to ship that truck around Europe to support one rider. Who manages the Gas Gas factory team? One rider in that whole set up doesn't exactly give you huge confidence in the team, especially when you compare there set up to, not only the other factories but also, the private teams e.g. Future Trial Racing and Top Trial Team.
  18. He might just bypass the TRW 125 and go straight to the 300, when he is old enough of course. There's no doubt that the Future Trial set up is extremely impressive. As regards Dibs I wonder if his goals this year are, 1 - finish top six WTC. 2 - Italian Champion 3 - Beat that Dougie Chap in a World Round. Not necessarily in that order.
  19. I think it would be more fitting for Gas Gas to define factory support? They might have their names on the truck but I don't think they have any space within it. In fact at the Spanish WTC apart from Gas Gas all the other factory supported trucks and other non factory teams had a host of riders, mechanics etc. This could be more of a problem to Gas Gas than others or are they consolidating all there support on Raga?
  20. I thought Shaun was a factory supported rider and therefore shouldn't they financial support him or provide assistance?
  21. Looking at the results on the FIM website he didn't start the trial. ??? Always good to see Doug on the podium, but that Bou is going to take some catching up, he just seems to go from strength to strength. Another consolidating performance from Dibs, although it sounds like he threw away a few marks on the second lap and should have broken into the top five. I'm sure he will at some point this year. Well done to Browny topping the podium in the Junior. You can always rely on the Atom to get the National Anthem played. Hopefully by the end of the season Shaughan will know the words.
  22. So after a short break the WTC starts up again in France, I must admit I've got withdrawl symptoms and I'm envious of anyone who has made the trip to the South of France. I'm sure it will be a fantastic round. Will anyone manage to put a halt to Bou's impressive start to the season. Can Doug repeat last years French win and thus gain his, amazing, 100th WTC round win. lets hope so. I expect the usual battle between Raga and Fujigas and one can never rule Cabestany out. Be good to see Dibs further consolidate his 6th placing and he will no doubt be looking at the scalps of Friexa and Fajardo. In the junior WTC I would hope and expect an Atom win and a Wiggy podium. Good luck to all the GB team in France.
  23. In view of the attached link Here. What amount of funding does the ACU or indeed the sport of trials recieve from the National Lottery, or is the funding only intended for naughty people?
  24. Geordie larger lout. Sheep worrier...... I thought you had spelt lager wrong but then realised you probably meant larger anyway. And for a geographical history lesson. I was born in Middlesbrough in 1966, which was at that time part of the North Riding of Yorkshire. So I am technically a Yorkshire man. I know Yorkshire was robbed of the beautiful city of the Boro by some disgraceful civil servants but it was Andy that told me you were a Geordie boy. True, you are larger lout than most. Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council also put Yorkshire on their address and have recently introduced 'Part of the Historic North Riding of Yorkshire' on road signs. As regards Mr Greig, you shouldn't believe everything the Welsh tell you.
