  1. The question was who can topple Jarvis? Whoever Jarvis is going to take some beating. Arguable on current World Championship standings Dibs is the man. But there will be strong competition from Colomer, Brown, Amos and Ben Hemmingway.
  2. I also wondered why this years factory bikes are still sporting 2006 Repsol plastics. Mind you they still look the dogs.
  3. The online petition as surpassed a 1000 and reads like an A - Z of British Trials. I just wondered if anyone could provide an update on what the current situation is. I am sure I am not alone in wanting to know this.
  4. So what about it being used as a practice area is that not as important? While practising is important the fact is that first the club has to secure the land for Trials. One of those is the British Championship Round which many consider to be one of the best around. Once that is done the problem of practising can be addressed. If an agreement can be reached it may well be restrictive. The fact is its the landowners decision how he wants things to proceed. The petition and the letters of support and based upon supporting the land for both events and practice. Lets not forget events have only been suspended and can be run under the 14 day ruling next year, practising has been stopped outright and indefinetely.

  6. Would you believe its called... THE MAN WHO COULDN'T CRY There once was a man who just couldn't cry He hadn't cried for years and for years Napalmed babies and the movie love story For instance could not produce tears As a child he had cried as all children will Then at some point his tear ducts ran dry He grew to be a man, the feces hit the fan Things got bad, but he couldn't cry His dog was run over, his wife up and left him And after that he got sacked from his job Lost his arm in the war, was laughed at by a whore Ah, but sill not a sniffle or sob His novel was refused, his movie was panned And his big Broadway show was a flop He got sent off to jail; you guessed it, no bail Oh, but still not a dribble or drop In jail he was beaten, bullied and buggered And made to make license plates Water and bread was all he was fed But not once did a tear stain his face Doctors were called in, scientists, too Theologians were last and practically least They all agreed sure enough; this was sure no cream puff But in fact an insensitive beast He was removed from jail and placed in a place For the insensitive and the insane He played lots of chess and made lots of friends And he wept every time it would rain Once it rained forty days and it rained forty nights And he cried and he cried and he cried and he cried On the forty-first day, he passed away He just dehydrated and died Well, he went up to heaven, located his dog Not only that, but he rejoined his arm Down below, all the critics, they loot it all back Cancer robbed the whore of her charm His ex-wife died of stretch marks, his ex-employer went broke The theologians were finally found out Right down to the ground, that old jail house burned down The earth suffered perpetual drought
  7. AtomAnt, write to JD and let him know your feelings. I did and he responded. I won't go into detail but its fair to say he doesn't feel there is much to be done until a legal case is put forward, whilst I do not doubt he will assist in the legal case I think he is very much missing the point. The overwhelming support is what will drive this fight forward. In response to Dabster I do not think any particular organisation is co-ordinating things. Y & G Club does seem the obvious choice as they must have an established relationship with Mr Fothergill.
  8. If you feel it is unjust and want to preserve the future of trials and not just Addingham Moorside, sign the petition. Its not really to do with lining the Chancellors pockets. It will also demonstrate the depth of feeling this issue has Worldwide.
  9. I do not believe it is a fight solely for Addingham Moorside as this could happen to any UK clubs trials venues. We need to stand up for our sport and Addingham is just one battle of many to come. All clubs, individuals, businesses need to unite against the threat. These bureaucrats, councillors etc know what they are doing and know the procedures to action them. We need to get one step ahead of them. There is no time for complacency!
  10. In Christian hagiography Saint George - The Saint who killed the Dragon (ca. 275-281
  11. This is one of the reasons why Guatemala was not a good idea. However would you choose an 03 beta with some of your bits or an 07 125 gasser with the big wigg treatment? I do not think it is fair on either riders to choose between the two achievements. Both outstanding performances worthy of merit. Lets leave it there.
  12. Just like to wish everyone a Happy Saint George's day. Its about time it became a public holiday in England.
  13. Another great second day ride from Browny. They must have put some new tyres on the 03 bike. Well done to Alexz for making the podium yet again. Shame for Doug losing out a podium finish on most cleans, Fuji's revenge from Mancha Real. The other riders must be scratching their heads and wondering how to stop the unstoppable Dynamite Bou. He is setting a blistering pace. But what a ride from Dibs! Another sixth placed ahead of Cabestany and Fajardo, is a fantastic achievement.
  14. 6 Freixa 17 7 Dibs 26 8 Fajardo 29
  15. Alexz's win is truly outstanding, what an achievement. Well done to him, Stu and Team Wiggy. I bet Dabster wishes he was in Guatemala, getting his bi focals polished. Given the problems Browny's been having its also good to see him also on the podium.
  16. When they clean the windshield, windscreen as we like to call it in England, are they still wearing the panties? I knew I should have gone.
  17. Munch, you have my attention. Now tell me about the magic box with lights. No not the telly.

  19. Yes I knew it was going to be one hell of a weekend when I saw the blue lights of the guardia civil. Don't worry Pysclops they'll be plenty more....now DJ's single.
