  1. Geordie larger lout. Sheep worrier...... I thought you had spelt lager wrong but then realised you probably meant larger anyway. And for a geographical history lesson. I was born in Middlesbrough in 1966, which was at that time part of the North Riding of Yorkshire. So I am technically a Yorkshire man.
  2. Can't answer that one. TC rules apply. You will have to come along and find out for yourself. PS worse drivers are in China. Evidently the driving test was abanoned some years ago.
  3. Forget all this talk from the beardy, knitted jumper, folk music real ale types. The most popular beer in UK is Stella Artois, more affectionately known as wife beater. (But don't tell her I told you.)
  4. Why were they Polish truck drivers?
  5. You'll have to make the trip to Poland, Denzil can have a few more pints of Tyski and then finish off the test ride.
  6. I would highly recommend going.
  7. Does your GPS advise you where tunnels are when to turn your lights on?
  8. A baseball bat is premeditated. Whereas a full glass lemonade bottle at the side of your bed, in case you get thirsty during the night, isn't.
  9. NOTICE WARNING TO THE PUBLIC MOTORSPORT CAN BE DANGEROUS Despite the organisers taking all reasonable precautions, unavoidable accidents can happen. Please comply with all instructions of marshals and notices and remain in permitted areas only. THEY ARE CONCERNED WITH YOUR SAFETY.
  10. Would of, could of, should have. Jarvis or Sherco made the decision for him to ride the 4 stroke and it didn't pay off, bleating about Jarvis winning it if he was on a 2 stroke are totally and utterly pointless. Lets concentrate on the fact that Dabill beat all the opposition regardless of whether or not they are 2 stroke, 4 stroke or even back stroke.
  11. Can you enlighten me as to how you can prove that Jarvis would have won the 2007 SSDT if he was on a 2 stroke? Can you travel through time and alter history?
  12. Someone else advised me of this fact and I have shamelessly nicked it. (Yes I was wrong it was 41 years and not 31. My excuse is I wasn't born when a 4 stroke last won the SSDT before Dib's overwhelming victory). Dibs win on the Future Trials Racing Montesa is the first four stroke to win the SSDT for 41 years. Well done Dibs and well done Montesa.
  13. The provisional results are showing Atom above Jarvis? As he had a better last round does that mean he has pipped Jarvis. I also have enjoyed the coverage and the live results have kept me watching it like a hawk! Great effort by all concerned. I too will be up there next year for sure. I hope your right and I'm wrong as it would be an awesome result for Michael. Shaugan's also had a good result, so I reckon a few tins of Tennetts Super Strength will be getting slurped tonight. Shame about Katy Sunter I though she was going to pip Iris Kramer to win the ladies but looks like today hasn't gone to well.
  14. It is great news that Dibs has 'provisionally' won but realistically being the highest ranking WTC rider he should win. Led the trial from start to finish and throughly deserves the win. It was also a great ride from the Atom, even though he will probably be disappointed he didn't quite pip Jarvis, non the less with Jarvis's SSDT record, to come as close as he did is fantastic. Alexz also had a very impressive debut and took some major scalps. I have thoroughly enjoyed the coverage of the event both on TC, with the excellent photo coverage, and on the official SSDT website, with the daily updates and live score board. I think next year may even see me venture North to have a look for myself.
  15. Just thought that I would resurrect this topic.
  16. Wiggy is also having a good ride, to finish the trial above Pascuet, Morris and Colomer, to name but a few, would be a great achievement. Browny is also having a good day and I would like to see him pip Jarvis. I won't tempt fate by mentioning Dibs.
  17. Having seen Cabestany's bike in the flesh at the Spanish WTC it is one hell of a good looking machine and anyway who would want a Raga? No doubt better quality components on the Sherco.
  18. Is it not a coincidence that the highest score in a section is five and five is also the number of loaves of bread Jesus used to feed the 5,000. Erm and 2 fishes.
  19. Is it not a coincidence that the Lord's day is Sunday, which is also the favourite day for trials?
  20. I have seen Jesus at quite a few trials. It may come as a surprise but his daughter is pretty useful on a trials bike.
  21. The Gerald Simpson is an excellent trial. I also rode the Clubman route and it was first class. One to really look forward to.
  22. I've also noticed Amos isn't riding either. I thought Colomer would be higher up the leader board than he currently is, but its great to see Dibs and Browny doing so well.
  23. Sounds like a great idea. I need all the help I can get.
