  1. I would include Michael Brown it that list.
  2. The results are posted on www.worldtrials.info 1 Raga 14 2 Lampkin 18 3 Cabestany 23 Sounds an exicting one, went to the final section.
  3. I'm on the verge of booking to go to Tarragona. The plan is to fly to Barcelona on Saturday, pick up a hire car for 3 days. (only
  4. Doug in his newsletter says he will be giving 110% so can you take it up with him? As stating over 100% is a pet hate of yours. Please except of full 999.9% apology.
  5. In answer to Doug's comment regarding his performance at Sheffield, i quote, ' I was obviously very disappointed with my performance but I was most disappointed for letting you guys down'. I hope I speak for the majority of trials riders in saying that Doug hasn't ever let his fans down. His 7 world outdoor and his 7 indoor titles bear testament to that. If Doug carries on giving 110% as we know he will then I for one will not feel let down, regardless of the position in which he finishes. Whilst he may not, at present, have a world title he will always be a true World Champion. Quite simply there isn't a current rider out there who can beat Dougie's 7 consequetive World Outdoor titles or even come close. Viva Dougie
  6. Howdy Marky, try www.topfun.com Yee Haw!
  7. clice do a nice suede tassled jacket to match.
  8. I'm pretty sure Doug is right handed. His throttle is on that side.
  9. StuartC, I understand what you are saying. But been a lazy get I wanted to know if anyone has already looked into any Euro trials trips away. CK
  10. Should they also ban advertising cars, oil companies. airlines etc. due to the environmental damage that they cause to the planet. Which is far worse than the self inficted damage caused by the smoker and the damage of passive smoking. Then ban advertising alcohol which is also bad for you. Where do you stop? If the money generated by the tax on tobacco out weighed the amount of money spent by the NHS on treating tobacco related heath problems do you think advertising of tobacco products would be banned?
  11. I've changed to broadband and hence my e-mail address has changed. I've now updated it on TC so it should be okay now.
  12. Does anyone know if any of the European World Rounds are easily accessible via economy airline? I'm looking at trying to organise a lads weekend away. Hopefully funded by buying loads of cheap fags and selling them on return. ( In other words, Dabster, tobacco sponsorship is alive and kicking ).
  13. Whereas the majority of the population may agree with a banning on tobacco advertising I would say they are very much against the double standards demonstrated by the Labour Party (I was refering to Tony Blair figuratively) and the fact that a major donator to the Labour Party was excluded from this ban. The banning of this form of sponsorship in Crosser's words, 'was a massive blow' and therefore like it or not makes politics relevant to this topic. Also the majority of the country did not vote Labour!
  14. Its good to see a repsonse from one of the people involved in Sheffield. Although I didn't go this year I've been several times and its always excellent and great entertainment and a credit to the organisers. Have the organisers every thought of moving to another venue, Manchester, London, Newcastle? Not that there's anything wrong with Sheffield but it may expose the sport to an audience that wouldn't normally get the opportunity. As regards Tony Blair removing tobacco sponsorship. Change your name to Bernie Ecclestone and donate huge amounts of cash to the labour party. Then you shouln't have any problems.
  15. I'm sure Ben will continue in the tradition Martin and James in being the best minder to the best rider. Jame's world experience will also be of great benefit to the up and coming UK Beta riders.
  16. Why is it that the WTC runs during the most moderate seasons, Spring Summer and Autumn. Surely it would show riders true skill ability if the Championship also included the Winter months, from say January to September. It would be a real spectacle to see the top riders riding in frost, ice and even snow. The indoor championship could run from September to December.
  17. Anyone know where, in the UK and preferably North East Engand, I can get hold of a Hebo Windtex jacket? Ta
  18. I would love to have a good go on one to see how they perform. The bike seem to balance very nice but I imagine not using the clutch would take some getting used to. Are there any Montesa dealers planning a test day if not I'll have to bother Marky Boy for a go on his fully stickered up, trick Dougie Lampkin replica.
  19. I'm awaiting a copy of the programme so I can decide the best place to watch. I've rented a cottage for the weekend not a million miles from the CB. Staggering distance in fact........... What pub is the presentation in and at what time? Cheers CK
  20. If the moneys better at Montesa who would hold it against Raga for moving. Montesa is far and away the best factory team and if you can't beat em join em. Raga is a superb rider no matter what he rides. CK
  21. I'll give it a go for Sherco. did you see all those girls posing on the poduim with Fujigas. Well there's an incentive if I've ever seen one.
  22. Fantastic weather, in fact when I finished I was wetter than an otter's pocket. A bigs thanks must be said to all the organisers and observers who also but up with the terrible weather. Thanks.
  23. Well done Fujigas a deserved champion. Glad to see Doug finished the series so strong and hopefully next year he can take back the trophy. A see theres still life in those Monts.
  24. The Ducati ones are programmable but the software costs about
  25. They look like they've been red leaded. Coloured wheels look crap except possibly gold in certain cases.
