Its a place called Gefrees in Bavaria. Were flying to Berlin and driving down, about 3 1/2 hours. Its also North of Munich. Unfortunately the Oktoberfest doesn't start until 17 Sep 05. Its also about 150 miles east of Prague.
Andy,
I'll contact you nearer the time or at Hawkstone to arrange to meet for a few biers. Do you know the nearest town for accomodation, nightlife etc. No doubt G2F have given you an excessive expenses account and we all know journalists reputations for drink.

Just booked up for the trip to Germany in September. The final last 2 day World Round., This could be the big decider? Can't wait....
-
I think they look better with the scratches.
-
Gave the carb and jets a good clean, bit its still a bast**d to start. There's also a hell of compression when kicking her off.
Tried the choke on when hot but no difference.
Any further thoughts?
thanks

If thats the service you have had in the past its no surprise that you expect the same and could be even one of the factors why you choose that specific dealer. Your doing them the favour.
Go and tell them your not happy

If this was a poll produced by a bookmakers and the odds represented the poll results. I would have a big each way bet on Fujigas.
Looking at the training photos, conditions look very dry. Which tend to favour the Spaniards particularly Raga. However Doug is the man and I reckon he'll finish top of the podium.

I'll give it a try and let you know.

Having had both Alpine Stars No Stop and Gaerne. I would go for Gaerne, better made, better quality leather and lasted me longer.

Over the last few weeks (trials) my 2005 Sherco 290 is becoming more difficult to start, needing 3 or 4 kicks to get it going, whereas before it would require only one kick. This happens even when the engine has been running for a while.
Any thoughts on what it may be?
thanks

Thanks. I can sleep now I know it isn't a break.
-
Any news on the wrist that Dougie injured on day 2 at Duluth.
-
How pleasing it is to see Dougie back on the top of the podium, following a fantastic win on the first day of the USA World Round. In what was terrible conditions. It just goes to prove theres more to trials than grippy rocks.
Fingers crossed he can do it on day 2.
It is also good to see Grimbo challenging for a podium spot.
-
Thats a bit selfish of him. Can he not cancel it.
-
I ride Sherco but still want to see Doug top of the World, as he is British.

Fujigas's Honda is blue.

Is it okay to vote after the results are known?
-
Just to drag this topic out a bit more.
Where do the Hemmingways fit it?
-
John,
How are you getting on?
I imagine the regs for the Wainwright should be out soon. Have you got an enrty in for Guisborough Clubs Glaisdale one lap trial, which is another good one to look forward to.
-
Drinking heavy is not the best training for a trial and believe me I speak from experience. Trial first, drink second. That way you get to work up a good thirst.
-
Where do you get the regs from?
-
When translating the Spanish todotrial website into English theres some quite funny errors.
Horseradish Tree Hemmingway
Horseradish Tree Nevis.
No prizes for guessing what Horseradish Tree really is.
-
Yeah it the sky was blue when I started to water the garden this morning and guess what..........
It lashed it down.
So the weather was fine all day in Scotland?
-
I once heard a rumour that James Lampkin wouldn't go practising with Laia because she showed him up.
-
And today's weather is not going to be kind. It would be nice to see Ben Hemmingway win on the 4RT. But it sure is going to be close.
