  1. The Poland round clashes with the World Cup Final. I suppose I could nip across from Poland to watch England.
  2. I would be shocked if Doug left Montesa HRC.
  3. Colonial. Cleveland. Richmond 3 Day. Gerald Simpson. East Yorks 2 Day. White Rose. Cogden Hall. (in fact most Richmond Club trials are always excellent). As per Kinell I reckon a trip to Europe is also called for.
  4. I wonder if the home made amateur film is trials related?
  5. You want the boots to fit snug. If there to loose you may get blisters. I always wear two pairs of socks.
  6. Had a test ride on a 2006 on Friday and I was very impressed. I think I will be treating myself in the near future. I can see a few Gasser defections, as the narrowness and lightness seem to me to be similar. Definitely a big change from the 2005 model and not just comestic.
  7. Got mine yesterday and sent them in today. Fingers crossed for an entry.
  8. There's only a few things that need sorted. Montesa HRC. Will they go for a Spanish home grown male rider and if so who? (doesn't seem to be many options open) Or are they happy with a Spanish female World Champion only. Who gets as much coverage, in Spain, as the other team members. What date will Doug and Fujigas actually sign their new contracts and who long will they be? Gas Gas Why has Raga only signed a one year deal? (easier for other parties to buy him out of his contract). As regards Cabestany going back to Beta. Can't see it. He left the team because he wasn't happy and has settled nicely with Sherco. And one last thing. Is Dabster on his way from Sherco to Gas Gas?
  9. Had 4 Montesa Cota 315's with no major problems. Great bike, extremely well put together.
  10. You just can't get a decent pie down Sarf.
  11. Next you'll be telling everyone about your cross dressing.
  12. Now lets not start any rumours.
  13. I saw one, albeit briefly, for the first time Sunday gone and to be honest it did not look as good as I thought it would. I'm interested to see what the frame looks like after a few good outings.
  14. It is yeah. Its the sections before the long road run to the last group before the petrol stop. If that makes sense.
  15. Best off parking at Clitherbeck Farm and watching the sections there. This is situated on the Road to Danby from the A171. Your best off following the sections by foot, as there not really accessible by car. Its about a 4 - 5 mile lap so most of it is in walking distance.
  16. Sorry I forgot I haven't got long blond hair and I'm no longer 17.
  17. I think that rules me out then. I don't ride with me glasses on.
  18. The commentary is appalling, bring back Jack Burnicle. Keeps calling the minders spotters, train or bird I'm not sure. There's also an annoying habit of telling the result of that round at the start - how crap is that. The actual trials footage is also very average. Seems to be very good at actually missing the main talking point of the trials, drowning bikes, crashes etc. The only exciting part was seeing the back of my head at the German Round. I suppose the fact I've had the DVD over 2 weeks and I haven;t got round to watching it all sums it up.
  19. When signing on at a trial and the number 13 is offered, how many refuse to take it. Personally speaking I have no problem with riding number 13 and on the contrary think I actually ride better.
  20. I've bought online from Scottish Trial and the service was excellent. They stock quite a few products that are not available in the UK. Dependant on the postage and packing they usually work out cheaper than UK prices.
  21. So whats next? Riders submitting a Method Statement for every section.
  22. As a result of an unlikely link between a certain trials rider and Manchester United. I can reveal that Montesa's new signing for the World 2006 WTC is Roy Keane. Whilst Roy Keane's Agent was unavailable for comment, a spokesman not representing Montesa HRC Team confirmed, that the story is possibly true and later went on to say 'is that like scrambling'. Roy has been linked with Montesa follow specualtion that a 4RT was spotted outside of Old Trafford.
  23. A bit over blinged. Should have stopped at the rims.
