    Over Fueling?

Milky oil is most definitely water in the oil I just had the same problem. I would suggest a waterpump seal kit and a new set of O rings for the head. Also check your fan is working as overheating could of been the cause of the seal failing, It was the cause of mine. As for the "bogging" it still sounds fuel related unless he head O rings are so knackered there's no compression left.... Sort out the O rings and water seal and see if there's any improvement and make sure the fan is working!

    Over Fueling?

Possibly a blocked main jet.... If it were me I'd be taking the carb off and stripping it down and blast the jets and all other little holes with compressed air or carb cleaner.
  5. Can someone please do something about this weather so we can all go and play without swimming haha
  6. This stuff? http://www.carplan.co.uk/index.cfm?product=124
  7. I did kinda wonder when I saw the price but then I've no idea what they're worth to be fair. Glad you got it sorted
  8. I don't use WD40 for cosmetic reasons just to get rid of water after washing. Normally after a wash I just cover the whole bike with it. Never have a problem with rust.
  9. Slipping off if it kicked back scares the crap outta me on the Fantic I just get visions of a broken shin!
  10. Always used WD40 on all of my bikes. Would be interested in a cheaper alternative though if there was something as good.
  11. Worn! Oh god no its anything but worn. Its only been used a handful of time since its been fitted. The center squares still have the pattern on the face of them its that new. It maybe the lighting i took the pictures tonight and all i had to go with at the time was my car headlights to illuminate things as ive no light in my garage at the min, the strip light blew and havent got round to replacing it... If IRC have the same problem then Michelin seem to be the way forth. Having said that at the weekend trial 2 of my friends running michelin had exactly the same problem they were flat by the end of it. They did do all the sections mind maybe that was coincidence. Its just a damn headache
  12. DOH yeah of course i still have to use my right leg cant get used to the left on the occasions ive tried. (Mainly cos my left leg is broke i suppose)

    Trans Oil

I was going by what it said here http://www.Gas Gas.com/Pages/Technical/Home.html Always 5W30 (Not 10W40), 350cc for the Pro, 650cc for other models, normal motor oil (Castrol/Penzoil etc). It is not recommended to use synthetic oi Hmmm do you think it may be harmful? Why would UK say different USA i wonder maybe a brand thing?
  14. Thats not a bad theory... My friend has one and he just happened to say to me tonight "any idea why Beta put the chain on the opposite side". It just got me curious so thought i would ask.
  15. Ok so... Just to prove im not being a numpty i took a couple of pics of the sidewall. But before i say anything else i think im gonna have to bite the bullet and get a different tyre for reasons i shall explain in a min.. If i keep the tyre inflated way past what it should be there is never a problem with it going flat. However i attended the Westmorland Club trial at the weekend (as a spectator because my leg is broken) and rode around the course following my friends. I started the day with my tyre set at around 5-6psi because i wasn't doing the sections but i still needed some grip to get up over the fells. Come the 3rd lap sure enough my tyre was like a damn pancake BUT still affixed to the bead!. Now here's the thing, because Ive tried it! If i go ride some trails and keep the tyre semi hard it stays up no problem all day, every time without fail. As soon as i let the pressure down to what its 'supposed' to be i end up with a flat. The only conclusion i can come too is on a section say riding across the face of a hill the tyre is folding under and letting the air out of the bead. I cant see any other explanation! Because if i keep it hard it stays inflated!

    Trans Oil

About a month now.... Changed it twice because of a WP seal failure. Reason being is Gas Gas USA recommend 5/30 but i didnt have easy access to that so had to go with the 10/40, and they did mention Castrol and non synthetic, so kinda figured 'its castrol, its non synthetic (ok the weight is slightly wrong) but it hasn't had any adverse affects at all. The clutch feels nice, all the gear selections feel nice and positive, not too much drag, easy to find neutral etc.... Do you think thats bad?? I mean the only real difference is the 10/40 is a slightly heaver viscosity whether it be hot or cold...
  17. Ooooops sorry wrong way round!!! Had a couple of sherbets (beers) lol
  18. As the title says is there any particular reason does anyone know? Or is it just a Beta "thing"? Just curious!
  19. Is there one does anyone know? I was told there was one in the same place as last wk near Tebay?
  20. Yeah I understand that completely I've got a lot more movement now though which isn't a bad thing for two reasons.. 1. My brake seems to be more responsive and sharper. 2. The "creaking" noise I could hear when compressing the forks whilst holding the font brake has gone. It turns out the creaking was the disk trying to move on the hub!
