  3. No wonder us old farts and our 70's bikes we own and ride , have got a hankering for the simple life . When I got my first Bultaco M 80 in 1976, I rode that bike to work every day on the road, trialed evenings and weekends, and when it needed fuel, go to my local esso station, gallon of fuel, 2 shots of oil from the big red oil dispenser gave about 30:1 from what i remember, Never had engine problems from that bike.
  4. Hi' I've been running my Sherpa M91 on aspen 2T for a while now, ever since my fibre glass tank started leaking (evil ethanol)and had to reseal the tank.Although I fitted a mikuni and jetted it for ethanol based fuel, I have not changed anything, and the bike runs even better on Aspen 2T 50:1. No smoke and bad fumes, but it comes at a cost. £20 for 5lt,but she's worth it. (you know what I mean lads)just don't tell the misses
  5. Good for you fish06,glad your getting the money back. funny when I read your first post about 11pm Saturday, I noticed in the people reading topic box,a member with the name of a well known trials shop, was it a coincidence ?. Any how do you have all six bikes you bought still, quite a lot for any man in a year. Cheers

    Ossa Mar Gearbox

Hi All, Looks like i'll be splitting the engine on a 250 Mar I've just acquired. It only selects 1st and 2nd ,and I have seen a posting from scotty in 2007, which had a good reply from woody. 23. Hi, I had a Sherco same year as yours, and had a similar problem with starting when I first got it. When lifting the choke lever to start from cold, I had to push the lever as high as I could ,wedging it between the frame and tank. It worked for me every time.
