Team Woftam 2004
Congrats also to Overthehill in his first year as CoC. Good to meet up with so many and put faces to names. Fatbikedude was younger than I expected.

Pre-65 Scottish
You got that one right Trialscot - the Masons have fewer secrets! I've got a paper copy thanks to Big John, but will have to re-type and simply don't have time to do that right now. Bear with me and I'll get it done as soon as I can.

Jarvis On Gearadh
What I can tell you is that it's standard practice in the results room to check any strange scores with the top riders and a 5 for Jarvis would have stuck out like a sore thumb so would have been checked again. Therefore, there must be a 5 against him in the book and if that's the case then the Observers word is law.

Jarvis On Gearadh
That's exactly whyI've put on my front page report about results being provisional. There is no way, however, he could dispute the double-dab at Inversanda :D

Pre-65 Regs
I should point out that this Vinnied bloke was the first man up Pipeline on the first day - and he cleaned it

Where Is Everybody?
We had a bit of a get-together last night. Myself, Ishy, Perce, Kinell, Bigfoot, Boofont, Monty Python, Duck Wizard, Vinnied and Stuhrc (apologies if I forgot anybody else!) and several beers were consumed

Good Luck
In summary, they were all knackered tonight. Perce and Kinell especially because it was their first time. They all flaked out early and I guess that's probably allowed!! Feedback I've had from a few riders is that the sections were harder than they normally are on the first day. The last few at Lagnaha were tough. Steep with big rocks and loose stuff between. Our Scottie turned in a VERY respectable 5 for the day which is amazing given the injury. Oh the note of Crosswaite's Scorpa - well it packed up today. Not sure what the problem was, but will corner him tomorrow. He'll be riding the rest of the Trial on a trusty 2-stroke on a No Award basis.

Good Luck
I got some photos of the 175 4-stroke Scorpa Martin Crosswaite's riding. Tried to upload them yesterday to no avail. Will try again now, but not hopeful on my 21k connection.

Pre-65 Regs
Photos were GREATLY reduced in size and quality because the antiquated phone system in this hotel will connect me at a max of 28k and even then only after several attempts. I'll be taking the ludicrous phone charges up with management tomorrow

Weather
Today started dull, but the sun broke through lunchtime. Mostly sunny with moderate cloud, but a chill wind.

Al, I'm not going to be online so much over the next week or so. I hope it all goes well and look forward to seeing the photos. Thanks for sharing your experiences.

The word I've heard (from someone in the know) is that it will debut in Japan, but will be ridden by a Japanese rider. Dunno who though.
