One thing that's not on your list, but has been mentioned many times over the years is disposable cameras. You'll see sights that few get to see and you certainly don't want to be taking an expensive digital with you...

I thought it was a good photo - just finished the Trial and still a happy bunny (or dog as the case may be!) Plus it brings home the fun aspect of the event.

No passport required for Northern Ireland BUT check if flying. Some airlines insist you carry it these days even for domestic flights. Technically You don't need it for EIRE either. They'll take a photographic driving licence.

Nobody knows. there were no proper TV Cameras there - at least not what i'd call proper TV Cameras. Couple of guys with shoulder mounted jobs. It'll be a real shame if it's not given proper coverage because Martin & Neil laid on a great Trial.
