hi. flywheel nut's,im looking for one in good condition if you have one spare
  6. Cracking idea pal. Now if that magazine trialsworld focused on the more technical feature's like maintenance and how to start and be involved with trial's the magazine would still be going today instead they looked at the professional side of the sport that was there downfall.we all know who the big wig's are in trial's. It's nice to see what the average rider's point of view is and there experience's and have abit of a laugh along the way. A comic page would be good aswell. plus the more begginners that get involved is only a good thing for everyone. So yeah great idea mate keep the site ALIVE.

  9. hi. sorry i dont know the answer to your problem, however i've just brought an old pre 65 but not sure what frame or even make of bike it is as most of it has been put together by diffrent bike's by the looks of it....what frame is your your's.your bike look's very nice.. thanks
  10. hi thank's very much, ill have a play with thing's to see what's going on,ill let you know what i find,it probaly wont be for a week or 2 untill i get a chance to look at it. cheer's. happy ridding.
  11. hi. there's 2 washer's that go on, 1 thick and 1 thin,i've been putting the thick 1 directly behind the basket and the thin 1 in betwwen the basket and the wheel where the plate's slot onto,im not sure if there in the correct, would that make much diffrence if there the wrong way around. Before i done the strip down there was a faint noise starting now it's just alot louder. cheers. steve.
  12. hi. im preety sure it went in,but will check it out to make sure it did'nt pop out again. thank's
  13. hi. yes it's a kind of tapping/knocking noise, its hard to explain but it goes abit like tap tap tap all the time the clutch is engaged all gear's select fine and run's without the noise when clutch is let out. No weld on casing. clutch plates look ok,although one of the screw's that hold the plate's in has broke off in it's collar but can still tighten up,thats not a new problem though it's been on and off like that for a long time. thank's,
  14. just rebuilt a fantic 156cc engine starts and run's well untill i engage clutch then i get a bad noise coming from engine. any idea's what i've done wrong. cheer's.

hi. yes i still have the original nut, look's like im going to have to get one made up,as you may know they have to be very tight as it's easy to break the woodruff key on the 200's. thank you for the reply.

hi john. Bill does'nt have one or know of any about,im hoping someone is breaking an engine up,the only other way to go is get something made up, but i'd rather have the proper nut. cheer's. steve.

hi. does anyone have a spare flywheel nut for the 156cc fantic engine,or any idea's where i can get one..cheers
  19. Dont worry fantic will come up trump's with the bigger size engine,i mean there not going to let on to there rival's what's coming and alot change's in 2 year's as far as engine design goes.I'd say the 50cc model is targeted for the kid's over there for the road that's why there's such a big seat for it.

funny you should say that my 200 done exactly the same i changed all the jet's in the carb no joy still cut out, tried a spare carb still no joy. on mine it only happened when engine was hot. anyway thing's just got worse it would become hard to start when the engine was hot the spark plug would be wet then i lost compression when kicking it over,i've now had a rebore and nice new piston i have decided to split the engine now to change all the bearing's so i dont know if that's solved the problem but im confident it has. so im thinking it could be down to a worn bore and piston. At the end of the day there's not much to them if your spark is good and carb is clean it must be down to the bore.
  21. don't worry about that, it's when the rider's who chuck rock's at you when your going through the section you have to be carefull of.

lovely looking bike look's like a seller to me, good to see. how long has that been on the market for any idea.
  23. bilco replied to essex rider's topic in Fantic
word has it the bike will be holding a 4 stroker.
  24. thank you for the suggestion's guy's ill try them out and see what suit's me best, after 20 year's of the bike sitting in the garage i decided to bring her back to life most thing's needed to be replaced i just forgot how stiff the clutch got to use so hopefully now i can complete a trial without my hand seizing up and ending up in a tree. i've heard through the grapevine fantic are coming back into production in the near future, there's allready some new part's for the older bike's making there way through to the market,i managed to get a full engine gasket set for it the other day which i think would'nt have been possible in the past. thanks again. steve.
  25. need some help in making the clutch lighter on fantic 200. Any idea's,is it possible to make it semi hydraulic.
